Great place to stay

The beds were very comfortable, the appliances were new, the Wi-Fi actually worked, the deck has a great view and the location was very quiet. I would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, fire pit, deck and other outside areas. Pets allowed is a big plus! Highly recommend this property

Amazing ocean view

The view from the deck was absolutely stunning and the house itself was amazing! The beds were comfortable with lot's of room for everyone in my family. It was hard to decide whether we would explore nearby Newport or stay in the house and enjoy the view. Beach access was close by and that section of beach was amazing with all the rocks and pools to explore. We will be back!

Ocean view perfection

We watched whales feed for hours, right from our deck. We loved the hot tub and the home had plenty of space for us to spread out for a few days. The game and puzzle selection was fun too.

Family beach trip.

We had a wonderful week of relaxing and enjoying each others company. The house was charming and extremely comfortable. We cooked in most nights and enjoyed the firepit. The view was exquisite. We are planning on returning next year. Someone checked in throughout the week to make sure everything was perfect.

Gorgeous beach house

It’s a gorgeous beach house that is so cozy and we loved having the beach view and having the hot tub right there. Just note that there is no immediate access to the beach from the home! Beach access is 1/4 mile down the road but you have to either walk on the highway or drive down to it.

Great beach house with amazing views

Located near Seal Rock and very close to Newport, comfy beds and plenty of space to spread out! The kitchen isn’t great, but they definitely tried hard to have plenty of plates, glasses and utensils around. The deck is really nice and the view is stupendous! We enjoyed the weekend. 10am check out is far too early. Parking is a problem! Overall everyone in the family enjoyed the space and had good things to say about their comfort!

Masterpiece Sunsets!

This ocean-front home will treat you to masterpiece sunsets!! Miles and miles of ocean views right off the deck and out every west looking window! Magnificant! Find 8 miles of uninterupted beach combing by accessing the beach right down the hwy only one mile north. Drive one mile south into Seal Rock for great seafood at the Luna Sea Fish House. The house is the perfect pet-friendly home. With laminate floors, sweeping and vacuuming beach sand was a snap. Loved it. Great kitchen, comfortable beds and super quiet from hwy. traffic. We will return!

I wasn't as impressed as I should have been

The property wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to be. There was even a gatorade bottle half full in the windowsill when we arrived. The view was amazing, and the bed was comfortable, but the house wasn't organized, the cupboards were old and the contents thrown in with no organization, the knives provided couldn't cut through butter. It did have an ocean view, but to access the beach you have to walk down a very busy hwy (Pacific Coast Hwy) and with children I wouldn't walk there, so we had to drive. The furniture was ok, but the dining room table seemed as if it should be thrown out . I realize it was pet friendly, but for the cost, I would expect better. It did full fill our needs enough for the weekend we spent there, and the hot tub was nice, however it was in a spot where you weren't able to see the beautiful views and that didn't make a lot of sense to me. It had the feel of a Hotel 8, which is to say it was suitable, but not the nicest.

The deck and hot tub were excellent, the view - amazing. High marks for the beds. Cooking anything and showering were a challenge. A plumber and new cookware would be excellent. Plenty of seating.

A very cool mid century gem.

Built in 1954 this a an architectural gem. The light framing and loads of windows belies a strong modern structural design. The beams are solid wood and not glue lams. The open design is really cool and seems ahead of its time. The joined massing of two volumes reinforces its modern heritage. It’s really a cool old beach house.

House does not look like pictures a little miss leading. Needs tall chairs and table on patio so you can sit and see the view while having coffee. There was no seasoning hardly for food. It was very musky smelling, dishes were dirty, floors turned our feet black, refridgerator had some hair in it. This is the only place ive been that id rather be out doing something besides just chilling in the house. It has a lot of potential but needs a lot of love and up keep.
