Wonderful Mountain Cabin

We had a GREAT time! The cabin was clean, welcoming and we felt at home while we were there. It is a great location to all the local sites (we were there for hiking.) I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who would like to visit the area. A plus - the neighbors were very nice also.

Myself, my husband, my sister and brother-in-law really enjoyed our stay at Higher Ground. It was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We spent most of our time there outside and loved the porch swing. Would definitely stay here again.

Higher Ground is perfect for anyone needing easy access into the cabin.

There is only one short step up onto the porch, which worked great for my elderly Dad. This was our 2nd time staying and we love everything about it. Spacious, quiet, all the amenities like home, and close to Cade's Cove. Will definitely stay again!

A great weekend

Cabin was well equipped. Great tv stations and ease of access. Enjoyed watching Tennessee beat Alabama. That will endear this cabin to us for a long time to come. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much.

Everything as advertised.

House was very nice...very peaceful setting, bed was a bit stiff for our liking. There was a Jeep Invasion going on which caused traffic issues (no fault of hosts). Perfect place to stay if you are attending. Would definitely stay again, just different weekend. I hear the annual Rod Run (car show) can be similar in traffic issues.

Tiny Cabin

This cabin is one of the best by far. We call it the Tiny Cabin because the 1st time we stay here there was a stuffed black bear on the stair rail overlooking the living room. Bears are big and strong...but we wanted to give a sweet and small name. Lol

Owners were easy to deal with. Had some noise issues with neighbors. But the owners can’t control that.

Get away with siblings.

The property was like described. Very clean and away from the hustle and bustle. A tree had fallen and took down cable lines, so we didn’t have tv or internet.

This was a beautifully decorated property! The driveway was slightly daunting due to its steepness, but other than that it is a property that my husband and I will stay at again. The only really negative thing I can say was it was loud every morning where there is construction of a new cabin starting across the road (the only reason I gave 4 stars) the swing on the front porch was great to swing on in the early morning with a cup of coffee with a blanket. Like I said we will definitely be back!
