Beautiful view, but...
The house is nicely decorated and the view off the deck is beautiful. However, there were a few things about our stay that were less than desirable. First, we received no check in or check out instructions. I had to reach out to the owner for the code after check in time since we hadn't received it, and she answered back a little while later. We had no idea where to put trash, as there were no bins outside, and we didn't know if there were any specific instructions prior to leaving. Second, we were really somewhat appalled by the amount of personal items in the house. There are 2 refrigerators, but both freezers were packed full and both refrigerators had items in them. Much of the stuff was opened and half eaten. We had no where to put our frozen items that we had delivered. There was absolutely no kitchen cabinet space available for the same reason (personal food and alcohol), so we had to keep our stuff on the counter. Additionally, there were personal toiletries in the bathroom, and absolutely no closet space in the bedrooms to at least hang our dress clothes. Finally, the description of the property indicates that it is 27 acres of secluded privacy. I would not say that it was secluded when there is another house steps away from this one, and the owner likes to pop in without notice. A few other minor things...the driveway needs some maintenance, and the deck has some loose/warped boards. There is a ton of potential for this place, but with better management.
