The space
This 3 storey home is set up for comfortable group stays and families.
Sleeping arrangements:
- Master bedroom (top floor): King bed plus Single Sofa bed (sleeps 3) with private ensuite shower room
- Bedroom 2 Family room (first floor): Bunk bed with double on the bottom and single on top (sleeps 3)
- Bedroom 3 (first floor): Double bed with its own ensuite shower room
- Bedroom 4 (first floor): Double bed
Bathrooms: 3 Full bathroom and 1 W/C in total, two en-suites (Master and Bedroom 3) plus a third full bathroom with twin sinks, for everyone’s use. There is a WC which is in the garden for use when outside.
We provide fresh towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer.
Living Room: A bright, welcoming lounge on the ground floor with plush seating and a Smart TV. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day out in the city.
Kitchen & Dining: Fully equipped modern kitchen with all you need to cook for a group. Functional oven, stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, and cookware. Tea, coffee, and basic condiments are provided to get you started.
There’s a large dining table set for everyone to enjoy meals together.
Family/Bonus Space: The large family bedroom (Bedroom 2) also doubles as an extra chill-out space, featuring a second Smart TV, great for kids to watch cartoons or gamers to hook up a console.
Parking: Private driveway fits one small car. We also have an on-street parking permit for a second vehicle.
Extras: High-speed Wi-Fi covers the whole house, making it easy to work remotely or stream movies. Dedicated workspaces are also at the property. Central heating keeps the house cosy in winter.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property during their stay. Enjoy!
The Neighborhood:
The house is on a quiet residential street just off St Barnabus Road in S2. You are very close to a lively stretch of independent cafes, takeaways and international restaurants, as well as convenience stores and supermarkets. Bramall Lane stadium is a short walk away, and Sheffield city centre, universities and major offices are within easy reach by foot, bus or taxi. It is a practical base for work trips, family visits and football weekends.
Getting Around:
Sheffield is easy to get around and the house is in a very handy spot.
City centre & station:
Sheffield city centre and the train station are about 1 mile away, roughly a 15 - 20 minute walk, or around 5 - 10 minutes by taxi or ride share.
Bus:
Regular buses run along London Road, just a short walk from the house, taking you straight into the city centre, station and university areas, so you can happily leave the car parked.
By car:
You’ll have a driveway space plus an on-street permit for a second car. Main routes such as the A61 and A57 are close by, with the Peak District about 25 - 35 minutes away and Meadowhall Shopping Centre around 15–20 minutes by car.
On foot:
Bramall Lane and the restaurants on London Road are only a few minutes’ walk, and most day-to-day shops and takeaways are also within easy walking distance.
