「Stayed here for 1 night and want to come back! Love that it’s dog friendly and also so close to greenport village. The only thing was that the bathroom smelled very mildewy when we woke up in the morning. There was a vent fan but there was no switch that turned it on. Aside from that the unit was great. We loved the fire pit, and I wasn't expecting a standalone tub. The dishes and glassware were also very nice. There’s even a dishwasher built into the counter. We will definitely be back!」

「They claimed it was a renewed hotel, it was older than before when it was called Baron Cove. Old rooms, old showers, I tried taking a shower then bathtub wasn’t passing the water down, the bathtub got filled up quickly with water. The pool looked tired, the service at the pool was horrible, staff didn’t know the menu. Disaster. So sad for this hotel as it was a classic back in the day.」

「Location was the best. Enjoyed using the pool. View from the room of the Long Island sound was incredible. We had dinner at Haylard restaurant. On the premises and it was delicious.」

「Check-in for me was a challenge. As I booked through Expedia, the property did not provide me with any of the check-in information. Very stressful beginning but otherwise good place to stay.」

The team made us feel right at home, and every part of the experience, from the delicious breakfast and pet-friendly atmosphere to the beach setup service, was simply lovely. I would happily recommend The Hedges to anyone visiting the Hamptons, and after this experience, I’m even more excited to visit The Colony Palm Beach on a future trip!」
