“My go to hotel when I work in Virginia Beach. Hilton standards , clean and comfortable hotel . On site store has excellent variety , home made cookies are outstanding! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Quiet and safe part of town . ”

“Resort is old and seems outdated. The green carpet in the halls and overwhelming smell was a bit much. Room was above average. They were working on the building the day we arrived, hot water took like 10 minutes to get hot but good after that. Pillows and bed were below average. View was good from our room. Noise was not an issue.”

“The bathroom in the office was out of order. Apparently they serve breakfast here also. The elevator was disgusting. There was no ice machine on property. Our rooms smelled terrible. The lights didn't work because there were no light bulbs. The bed had sand and grit all over it. My buddy who got a different room said there was hair in his bed. We ended up not staying and getting a room somewhere else. This is probably the grossest place I have ever almost stayed. I'm totally fine with a place……

“No breakfast was left the first or second mornings about 30-45 minutes before it closed. Staff had to be called to clean the room. The room smelled.”

“Tge pool was gross and not functional. Beach view was amazing. Balcony room was perfect! The adult slide in the lobby was a hit for my kids. ”

“Tough day apparently for the well meaning front desk staff and manager. Checked in at 5:30pm on a busy Saturday evening in March. Pull out couch was opened with mattress in half and bottom sheet along with it. Top sheet was in a heap on the night stand. Trash can in kitchen “suite” was on its side. Hmmmm went back down to share with front desk. Manager apologized and said they would take care of it. Also would address stale cigarette odor. Before leaving for dinner 6:45 told staff we were……

“The location of the room was not good. It was above the garage exit. The second floor looked unsafe. The balcony door could not be closed and was broken.”

“Not sure where to start Expedia rating was like 7.2 which I can’t believe - never will believe a rating on Expedia again. I had 2 rooms but I had my daughter sleep in my room (hotel didn't feel safe). Friends dropped by from the Naval base, but they didn’t want to get out of their car, place didn’t seem safe. Rooms smelled like cigarettes, beds are noisy since on metal frames, front door had a big gap in door frame - could see people walk by. One room had a balcony but no door handle to……

“Accessible to everything, no complaints besides Wi-Fi in and out but other than that, the hotel was perfect for what we were looking for at a very affordable price.”
