"We stayed here for two nights, what a wonderful experience! The room and staff were fantastic, food was great, felt very relaxed and at home. We visited Looe, Polperro and Fowey, easy to travel to and back. Loved the little break away. Would highly recommend going."

"The room was spotlessly clean with everything that you could need. Large bathroom, fridge and complimentary tea, coffee and extra treats like homemade cake. The breakfast was outstanding and beautifully presented. There was excellent choice and the homemade bread, honey and yogurt was superb. The hosts were fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable, helping with suggestions of the best places to eat, visit etc. Beautifully quiet location. Perfect. We will be back. Looking to book one of their holiday cottages for a longer stay next time."

"Lovely little cottage in Lovely well kept grounds. The cottage is looking a bit tired and could do with a fresh coat of paint inside, the bathroom needs a bit of maintenance but don't let that put you off if you get it at the right price. We would stay again."

"We spent a week in the cottage, had a lovely holiday. There is an additional charge for electricity which seems a bit strange. Cottage is rather cold as it doesn’t get much sunshine. Enjoyed the fishing in the lake, but lilies need removing . The grounds are kept really well. All in all a good holiday"

"We absolutely LOVED it!It was perfect location and setup for me and my dogs. Easy to find (great navigations given), loved the local little shop and the pub had really tasty food!Dogs enjoyed the amazing dog walks down to the beach or just around the cottage. Plenty of things to see - got some decent discounts in the local shops thanks to Mark & Zoe.The host couldnt have been more welcoming! The eggs went down really well with the pups for breakfast. They were incredibly helpful with information, got so much logs / kindles for my stay. They regularly topped up the different bird feeders which I could see from the fire-lit sofa inside. the little spring next to the cottage kept the dogs entertained for a long time! The cottage was clean, equipped with everything I could think of! The bed was comfy and we were all on the same level, I didnt have to climb stairs! It was dog friendly - pups enjoyed the special treat Mark & Zoe left out for them!HIGHLY recommend this cottage for you to stay if you are looking for recharging your batteries! We are coming back in a few months time!"

"Yes, would rebook this. Settings are beautiful and tranquil. Accommodation was cosy and had good amenities. Do pack rackets or for the tennis court. Even fishing rods as lake is stunning. Bathroom plug needs a seal as you can’t keep water in sink. Kitchen tap needs a tightening. Note to future bookings. Make sure you read up on Electric and having to leave cash. Shops aren’t local for quick draw out of money. A card debit at reception would make it easier."
