「Wonderfully situated overlooking the beach and for going straight into Town for shops and restaurants. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities that you could wish for. The breakfasts and evening meals were super with a wide range to cater for every taste.The staff were attentive but never intrusive. We would certainly stay there again. 」

「Everything was perfect, from courtesy parking, reception, cleaning staff, all professional polite and very smartly dressed. Would highly recommend and will definitely book here again if I am planning another trip to Sidmouth.」

「The hotel is a very old coaching inn, full of character, and very well maintained. It is well situated for both Sidmouth and the Donkey Sanctuary. The room had a lovely bed, in a fair sized room. The en-suite was very nicely appointed. Our room was facing the road so there was some traffic noise. The food was excellent and the staff were all really attentive and provided a great service. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Blue Ball Inn, Sidmouth. 」

「Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended.」

「Total shambles with checkin. I arrived for the allotted checkin wi Dow of 3/4pm to find no one there. I had not received any online communication wrt combination for key box and subsequently had to try to talk to TravelNest who were apparently the booking agent even though I booked through Hotels.Com. I had tried to touch base with the host previously but never got any reply. Travelnest finally got an answer and a cheery host called me without any apology the inconvenience. I couldn’t stay in...
