Casa Siena apartment

The apartment is a first floor apartment in an ancient 14th-century residence within the walls of Siena and the ideal base for guests wishing to live life in a beautifully preserved medieval city.

The furnishings and ceilings are typical of the Tuscan tradition: a vaulted brick ceiling adorns both the kitchen and the living room, while the rooms are enriched with ancient beamed ceilings. A balcony overlooks the Basilica of San Domenico.

Renovated in 2019.


The apartment is in the historical centre of Siena and it is forbidden to drive there.

We had an incredible stay at Casa Siena! Communication was perfect and everything about the apartment was wonderful. The location is unmatched, you’re only a couple hundred steps from the Duomo, and the rest of the historic downtown! We would absolutely stay again!

If I could give this location 6 STARS....

Our stay in Siena was truly memorable. The property exceeded all expectations, and I have to say the website description does not do it justice. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charm, comfort, and attention to detail throughout the space.The host was warm, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to departure. They provided helpful recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.The location was ideal. We were close to the heart of Siena but still felt like we had a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of each day.The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of thoughtful touches. Whether we were enjoying coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening, it was the perfect place to unwind.We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It was a special part of our time in Tuscany.

Excellent stay

My wife, daughter/son-in-law stayed here and had a wonderful time in Siena. We used this apt as a home base for Pisa, Florence and Venice - perfect. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The listing was accurate, the apt was extremely clean and communication with host was prompt. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Siena. If we do return, we are staying here again.

Another Great Stay in Casa Siena

We have stayed here 5 or 6 times. It is a wonderful apartment. Very centrally located in the historic part of Siena. The host is very easy to work with and is very helpful. We use Siena as a base for wine tasting throughout Tuscany. Many lovely villages to visit a short drive away.

Siena was such a easy city to visit and walk around to everything you want to see and more. Our apartment was in the perfect location. Central to everything but on a quite stree with a great veiw of the valley from the bedroom windows. Our host was very helpful whenever we had any questions. Great apartment in a beautiful city

Sienna getaway apartment

Perfect apartment to explore Sienna. Close to everything. Christina the host was wonderful and responsive to all our needs. Apartment was very clean. You will need to bring your own soap and shampoo. It should be noted that the walk from parking to the apt is up a very steep hill to get to many escalators that take you near the apt. Very hard with a lot of big and/or heavy luggage, Pack very light to stay here!

Perfect Location!!

Loved the apartment & Siena

Amazing apartment, very clean & spacious for the two of us. Perfect location, very close to the steps of the duomo & restaurants. Very quiet area. Such lovely views, although the terrace is small it’s enough for 2 & is west facing so can enjoy sitting watching the sun go down. Communication with the host very straightforward. Loved Siena, beautiful city easy to navigate & so many good places to eat (well, this is Italy!). We did a tour on the first day with Viator, which was very useful, best to go with an operator offering small groups as some of the tours are huge. As well as the normal sights, worth checking out the basilica of San Francisco. It’s off the tourist trail but inside is gorgeous with amazing pictures. We arrived/departed Siena via train, straightforward walk from the station. Didn’t appreciate until we arrived exactly how hilly Siena was! About 8 escalators to take us up to street level from the train. Would recommend both the apartment & Siena & would love to return next time we are in Tuscany.

Two night stay

This was a great, spacious apartment for my family of three over Easter weekend. The check in was a relatively smooth process and we took the host’s advice of taking a cab from the train station (easy process but needed a little self navigation for the last couple streets where the taxi couldn’t drive). Arrived to a local treat to start our stay in Siena. Highly recommend it!

A wonderful Siena home with a view

This apartment had every thing we needed, and more, to be comfortable during our stay. The full size, eat-in kitchen is very nice and there was lots of room to spread out for our family of four. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs with lots of closet space and AMAZING views. The apartment was spotlessly clean 👍 and we had lot of extra blankets and pillows. We loved this location in town because was super close to everything we wanted to get to but still provided a beautiful view over the park and church (our favorite view in Siena). We have visited Siena before and Cristina’s home is our favorite. Cristina was so accommodating and welcoming and available for any needs we had. The building for this apartment was also nice and clean and easily accessible. There is one flight of stairs in the main entrance to the apartment and thats it. Would be a great location for people looking to limit too many stairs but have a place with a view. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful interior with all modern conveniences! Only 2-5min walk from Piazza il Campo, 1 mins from the main cathedral. And yet it’s tucked away on a very quiet side street. Rear of apt has small balcony with seating for two with an amazing view of green spaces and basilica across the valley. Has a clothes washer which is extremely convenient for light packing. The property host Cristina was very responsive and made sure we had what we needed. Small market with basic grocery items 30 seconds away with a very friendly shop owner.

In the heart of Siena

Wonderful apartment

The apartment is just as described and has all the amenities needed. It’s perfectly located near the Duomo and a very short walk to Il Campo. Christina was an amazing host and went through everything at check in. The sunsets from the windows are stunning. It was a very quite neighborhood with everything you needed. This apartment was just perfect for our needs and exceeded our expectations.

The owners were just lovely. They accommodated our early arrival by allowing our dropping of luggage and the apartment was spotless. Terrific apartment in Siena!

We booked this apartment nine months ahead, because we wanted to stay just over a month. Cristina, the owner, communicated along the way, and, in the few days before our arrival, she was in touch to ensure that everything went flawlessly. She and her son, Filippo, met us at the apartment shortly after our arrival to go through everything and to offer assistance at any time during our stay. During our stay, Cristina suggested local events that we may want to attend. We were assured in advance that the internet service was fast, and it certainly is that. The apartment is exactly as the photos depict. It is very comfortable and well equipped for a long stay with everything you might need, including a gas range and oven and a large refrigerator and freezer. We prepared most of our meals at “home.” There are a number of small markets close by and a large one is maybe an easy 15 minute walk away, and if they don’t have it, you likely don’t need it. Of course, there are many wonderful places to eat or have coffee nearby. Situated on a small quiet street, and with expansive views from the two bedrooms, it is a very comfortable place to spend time away from the busier areas. We took several trips to other towns of interest by bus, with the bus staging just beyond the large market or just beyond the train station. After a long day away, the apartment was just like coming home. Cristina has thought of everything and has created a very special place. She is a jewel, and he

Ideal location, updated apartment with charm/character

Great location within the walls of historic Siena. Convenient to parking garage which is OUTSIDE city walls. You hop on 3 flights of escalator and land near the apartment. Tastefully updated with well appointed kitchen. The owner’s son Filippo greeted us warmly and provided ample information about restaurants, etc.
