You both made our experience in Barbados a memorable one! We especially enjoyed the deck table and chairs. Dinner in the evening was our time to regroup and plan for the next day. So Very Impressed!!
This was our first time to Barbados and we could not be more pleased. Upon arriving at the airport there was transportation waiting to take us to the apartment, then the rental car we wanted was delivered right to us. That alone made the transition to a new country so much easier and enjoyable. The apartment was everything that Stefano and Elizabetta had said. It was spacious and clean. We had a 10 day stay and our linens were changed every 5 days and our towels were changed ever three days. The apartment was on the top floor and our view from the deck was gorgeous, could see and hear the ocean. There is a very nice almost private beach within a 3 minute walk. There is also a great open air bar called Surfers Bay which is also a 3 minute walk. Great way to end the day after being at the beach. The island itself is very easy to get around (once you can navigate the streets) and the people are very friendly and the food is out of this world. The fish market on Friday is a very happening place to be! I would recommend this place to whomever, our next visit to Barbados we will be staying there again. Thank you so much Stefano and Elizabetta and Maya for such a wonderful vacation!! Hope to see you again.

Great space
My boyfriend and I were very happy to have booked our nine night stay here. The apartment was clean, kitchen well stocked, beautiful ocean view and our gracious hosts made the stay excellent. The location is less than a 5 minute drive to Freights Bay and about an 8 minute drive to Oistins town. We enjoyed being a bit secluded and away from noisier parts of town. Definitely recommend!

A very warm welcome from Stefano!
The apartment was clean and comfortable and safe was as described on the listing. Stefano was very helpful and informative about what to do in Barbados. As it was our first visit to the island we enjoyed using the local bus service for a few days to get along the South Coast and into Bridgetown. The bus stop was a short walk away and the buses were frequent and fun. The Surfers Bay Bar was less than a 5 minute walk, it had a friendly atmosphere and good meals. The beaches in the area are not for swimming but good for wind and kite surfing. Stefano kindly organised a taxi for us to and from the airport and he also sorted out a hire car for our last few days. This gave us a chance to explore the rest of the island. We enjoyed our stay in Barbados and would recommend staying at Blue Ocean cottages, especially if you enjoy surfing in any of its forms. Thanks Stefano and Elisabette, we enjoyed our stay in the Yellow Bird Apartment.

Couldn't have landed in a better place!
The stars must've aligned and landed me in the most suitable location not only for great sea views, water sports, and local attractions, but most importantly a safe and comfortable area where I was able to walk about freely, go in and out of town, enjoy the beach, and meet great Bajan locals and also travelers from all over the world with ease. Eli, and Stefano were gracious hosts, who made sure their guests were comfortable and taken well care of. The yellow bird apartment easily became my home away from home, and was clean and equipt with everything that I needed as a woman traveling alone. I especially enjoyed speaking with Eli about native Italian cuisine, and life in general. All in all the location of Blue Ocean Cottages was entirely ideal, offering beautiful landscape, easy access to local bar Surfers Bay, and into Oistins where marketing and calm turquoise beaches are within simple reach. I highly recommend this location, and personally extend gratitude to Stefano and Eli for sharing their bit of paradise with me.

very comfortable apartments
A quiet and beautiful place almost on the beach. Apartments are very snug, clean and spacious. There is everything for comfortable life: furniture, household appliances, dishes, bathroom, hot water, audio system, wi-fi. Bedclothes and towels were regular changed (every 2-3 days). The owners (Stefano and Elizabetta) are the sweetest people, they did everything for making vacation comfortable and interesting, gave some good advices about excursions and recommended a good instructor of kite surfing. There are some beaches near the apartments. Almost all of them are suitable for windsurfing and kite surfing. The most famous kite surfing spot (Silver rock) is about 10 min on foot. If you don’t want to cook by yourself, there is a surfer’s bay café near the apartments, where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to visit other cafés, restaurants (that is strongly recommended) or night clubs you need to go 5-15 min by car or by bus. The bus stop is about 7-10 min from the apartments.

Very Homey!!
The place is line home, but in a beautiful county with lovely people. Stefano & Elizabeth, the owners, made us feel like family. They arranged transportation and gave us tips on where to go. The room we stayed in was a cute apartment (the yellow flower room, I think) was perfect for us and just as it was described. It was clean and everything was supplied. The view of the water from the room was just spectacular. There is a small bar within walking distance that was convenient. The propert was close to public transportation and a convenient store. We are ready to come back and stay longer next time!! We loved everything we did!! Everything was awesome. Thank you Stefani & Elizabeth!!

Very relaxing and energy boosting.
Our first time at Barbados. Been to several other islands in the Caribbean, but not to Barbados.
Meet and greet was perfect.
The apartment is nice and tidy even if it's more simple than we are normally looking for.
However the apartment works perfectly well. Our first impression was that we were very much out on the countryside but looking for relaxation and a good surf, it is actually the best part of the island,, but you need a car to get around.
The landlord was very helpful and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Four weeks of total relaxation
As we (me and my partner) were planning to stay four weeks in Barbados the hotel accommodation was not an option for us. We were looking for a house or apartment as near the sea as possible. And we found it: Blue Ocean Cottage! As we were only two we chose Yellow Bird Apt which was perfect for us. Rooms were spacious, kitchen well equipped, small but functional bathroom and all clean. From the terrace you have a sea view with nice sea breeze. Everything was as described. The owner, Stefano, was always just a phone-call away. Anyhow, we did not need any help from him as everything was in perfect order during our stay. Cottage is located 30 min walk away from Oistins. We did not rent a car as there was also the bus stop in the walking distance. Those minibuses operated in a few minute's interval until midnight. Surfer's paradise Silver Sands was just nearby. Even we did not surf ourselves it was nice to watch it from the sandy beach. Daytime there was NO RAIN; few showers during the nights. Location of the Blue Ocean Cottage is very peaceful and also the guests were thoughtful and did not cause any noises. WE SLEPT 10 HOURS EVERY NIGHT! We both love to swim in the sea and the beaches are just stunning in Barbados. It was a holiday in PARADISE.

Simply a perfect stay at Yellow Bird Apartment
My partner and I were delighted with our choice to stay at Yellow Bird Apartment where we stayed for 2 weeks. It certainly met our expectations and measures true to what we had read about the property prior to our stay. We found the apartment very clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything one needed. Air con was optional but with a steady sea breeze we didn't use it for the whole 2 weeks, the fans kept us cool by night. Very friendly hosts Stefanos and Elisabetta were always at hand when needed and gave great advice on excursions and places to visit around the island. Very happy guests Nathan Wyatt and Andrea Vincze

begli appartamenti seilenziosi e vicini allo spot
Io e la mia famiglia siamo stati al Blu Ocean Cottage alla fine di dicembre 2014 e abbiamo occupato due appartamenti.
Ci siamo trovati molto bene sia perché la location per chi vuole fare kite è ottima, perché molto vicina (volendo si va anche a piedi), sia perchè gli appartamenti sono silenziosi (anche quando le onde sono molto grosse), molto carini e funzionali.
Stefano e Elisabetta sono molto simpatici e sono stati sempre molto disponibili a soddisfare tutte le nostre richieste.
ahhh dimenticavo che Stefano è un windsurfista forte .... anzi molto forte.

Amazing Holidays
I stayed 3 weeks at this beautiful place. The Apartement was great and is next to the sea. Some really beautful beaches are around with pure white sand. A rental car is absolutely needed to get to the supermarkets and to other beaches.
Stefano, the guy who rent the apartements is great. Whenever i had questions or something was to arrange, he was there and offered help. A really friendly guy
I can absolutely recommoned this place and would go there again. I really enjoyed my holidays.

Amazing Holidays

A Wonderful Holiday
We spent 6 weeks at the Blue Ocean Cottage for our holiday. Stefano and Elizabetta had provided great service, and were helpful in every way possible. We spent our holiday in the White Cocunut Studio and found it to be very comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The beach outside the Cottage was magnificent. A car is a must, as there are so many lovely beaches to explore. Barbados is a wonderful island paradise a must to see. There are many restaurants, and so many sights to go visit. We look forwards to coming back in the near future as we had an amazing time. Thank u Stefano and Eli for all your help. Andy and Natalie.

One of the best vacations ever!
We stayed in the Blue Ocean Cottage ( Yellow Bird Apt. ) for 3 weeks in June. We looked online for a while to find the perfect place to stay and were so glad when we finally booked the Yellow Bird Apartment at Stefano and Elisabettas Blue Ocean Cottage! Everything was exactly how it was described and showed in the Internet, we couldn't have found anything better. The apartment, the location, the beautiful view and great owners made it hard for us to leave!! Stefano and Elisabetta were very helpful, informative, and caring! It was for sure one of the best vacations we had so far. Barbados is an beautiful island with amazing people and the most mesmerizing scenery! And we must say the South Coast is probably the best place to say, it has the best beaches, restaurants and nightlife! The perfect time to visit is for Crop Over!! We will be back soon, thank you Stefano, Elisabetta and Maya!

soggiorno a barbados
ho soggiornato 10 giorni presso il blue ocean cottage e devo dire che sono stato in maniera stupenda grazie alla splendida disponibilità e comptenza del titolare.
splendida posizione su uno dei tratti di costa più belli dell'isola con spiagge incontaminate e deserte.
l'appartamento molto carino, curato in tutti i particolri e molto pulito, come tutto il complesso anche nelle parti comuni.
posto tranquillissimo ma contemporaneamente non distante dalla zone con una vita notturna più animata per chi lo desidera.
lo consiglio a tutti!!!!!

“Affordable privately owned apartment"
I am certainly glad I made the decision to stay in the area of Silver Sands with my girlfriend. Blue Ocean villa has the perfect location to make short trips between the rugged south/east coast and the famous azure waters and golden sands of the west coast - unfortunately in areas densely populated by beachfront hotels and touristy restaurants. It also located within close proximity to the airport and Oistins, which is a small town with a big supermarket and the famous Friday Fish Fry.
Before our stay I was in email contact with Stefano who owns these apartments, he was extremely helpful and informative, even booking our jeep for the 10 days - MAH rent a car (at a much cheaper price then I was quoted elsewhere).
On arrival we were greeted by Stefano and his Partner and shown to our apartment (yellow bird), although a lot smaller then the photos suggest the apartment has everything you need for a basic (slightly oldie worldly) stay in the Caribbean. The bed is comfy and has a basic en suit toilet and shower. The only negatives = lack of a kettle & that the oven either incinerates what’s in it or doesn't cook it at all.
In summary, don’t expect your accommodation budget to go as far it would in Europe but I would categorically advocate staying at Blue Ocean villa for a relatively affordable means to visit an undeniable paradise.

a very good deal in barbados !!
ottima l'accoglienza dei proprietari Elisabetta e Stefano e della loro simpatica cagnetta maya , abbiamo avuto da loro tutte le indicazioni per muoverci la nostra prima volta in barbados, siamo stati bene per dieci giorni in agosto nell'appartamento Yellow Bird c, composto da una bella stanza da letto matrimoniale ed una cucina abitabile, piccolo ma funzionale e pulito c'è tutto quello che può servire in una casa, un piccolo passerotto tutte le mattine si affaccia per fare colazione con gli ospiti della casa.
