Disappointing
We had to travel to Kent where we used to live for a friends funeral. As it was a sad trip we booked here rather than a Hotel so as to have a few home comforts. On arrival we had to call a mobile to find out the code to get into the gates. I said our booking was for 1 bed apartment with King Size bed, the option given on Hotels.com. I was informed they only have single beds and have had for about 12 months. So the pics on Hotels.com are wrongly advertised. The apartment had just been painted so was in good condition. However the rug in the living room was filthy! I think this is the first place we have ever stayed that does not provide hand soap in the bathroom, which obviously we hadn't taken. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable, and when sat there with a drink, only place to put it was the floor! But probably the worst part of staying there was how thin the walls are, to the point we were woken in the night with next doors snoring!! As it was mainly workers staying there we were also woken with the noise from next door getting up at 6am for work. The neighbours were not particularly noisy, it was just the thin walls. Also when entering or leaving take a torch as there isn't a light to see the key pad to open the gates! Overall very disappointing and wouldn't stay again!!
