"Edna’s Cottage is wonderful. It’s in the ideal location with paths on the doorstep with a range of walks. It was quiet and we spent time in the beautiful garden which was magical. There was a lovely traditional range and an adequately kitted out kitchen. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of hot water and a good shower. "Great room, excellent bed & bedding. Bathroom well equipped with plenty of hot water. Parking was included & close by. Staff very welcoming & accommodating. Lovely evening meal in the restaurant. Our steaks were cooked to perfection & the whole meal delicious. Only thing to let the hotel down was breakfast. Breakfast buffet was dry; the bacon was hard & fried eggs rubbery. The pot of tea was awful, which was a surprise at tea bags in bedroom were delicious. It was bad tea & doesn’t seem to have been made with boiling water. We would gladly return despite the tea ! "
