“It's a lovely hotel but could be a luxurious gem if the owners hired a team of experts in refurbishing hotels. Too many missed opportunities. Reception and kitchen staff are lovely and welcoming! The swimming pool is charming but needs a good scrubb off! ”

“Spotlessly clean accommodation with a warm and efficient welcome. Shared facilities which again were perfectly clean. Secure entry system and plenty of off-street parking. Only slight issue was thin walls so could hear the next room on mobile phone but it didn't go on late and I had a good night's sleep.”

“Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. Communication with the host was very good additionally.”

“My single room was immaculately clean, very basic , but suited my needs as a frequent visitor to Aberdour. The breakfast was adequate but my evening meal was home cooked and delightful. It is in a perfect location, just a walk away from the beautiful beach, boutique shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I would say this hotel is perfect for a weekend stay. ”

“Although the suite itself was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable, unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by several issues. The lights in the room didn’t work properly, which was frustrating from the start. The door to the suite constantly rattled whenever the downstairs door opened and shut, and because of the lack of soundproofing you could hear every conversation from below. Noise was the biggest problem. There is no double glazing, so we could hear everything happening outside the……
