"Given room by road side and told it met my request for a quiet room. No hot water"

"This is a lovely hotel, with excellent helpful and caring staff. The newer Elizabethian addition to the hotel is modern and good quality. The food is excellent with well sized portions which tempt you into another course. Parking is good but possibly difficult if the hotel is busy. We chose to have breakfast in Lincoln as its only 15 minutes away."

"1st room we were allocated was noisy because of extractor fans on the mezzanine roof just below our window and air trapped in the radiator. Allocated a 2nd room, which was much better, but some noise from the extractor fans still audible. Breakfast service ok, although a number of items not available because they had run out of stock. Dinner in the restaurant not a good experience. Extremely slow service (nearly an hour between starter and main course) and poor communication from the staff regarding delay. Portion size of fish main course extremely small for the money paid"

"Easy parking, big room, clean but dated. Staff great. Shower was really powerful and towels extra fluffy Really good value for price "

"Nice little weekend away for us both.. park was not so busy as during term time, caravan was more than equipped, castle and church well worth a vist"

"Hot tub was leaking and filter was broken, two of the outside lights were broken, kitchen tap was loose , one of the showers brackets was broken so u couldn’t put the hose back up, there was only 4 outside chairs and there was nine of us. Nice location , plenty of space , nice and clean lodge, couldn’t fault the staff"

"Great value for the price and the quality of surface you get. Cannot complain. The hall way at night does looks a bit like a haunted movie due to the way the motion sensor for the light works and the bluish emergency exit lighting."
