“Though local, I frequently stay here just to get away. The room is always clean. Breakfast is a true breakfast with hot foods with hearty to healthy choices. No outrageous, incidental fees, and the one time that I had an issue (loud children at play) they moved me to the top no hassle. Love it here. Paying a mortgage but TRU is a part of my self care.”

“We had a lovely stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Smyrna. The only issue we had was with the pool. One of the reasons we stayed at the property was to give our grand-kids a place to swim in the evenings, however the hot tub was being repaired and the pool water was too cold for little ones to swim in. Staff indicated the water temp was due to work being done on the Hot tub.”

“The room was mostly clean, except for the headboards which looked kinda greasy. Everything else was fine and clean though”

“Hate to leave low reviews but also gotta keep it real. This hotel is looooong due for renovations and upgrades. It feels basic and looks old....Definitely not keeping up with the times/ all the newer hotels that are popping up. The furniture is old, the carpet is dark, old and ripping in some places. The bed skirts were not the rt size...dragging the floor, stain on the duvet, water pressure in the shower meh. The TV was nice size but limited channels and did not offer "smart" options to hook to……

“There was no breakfast ”

“The location of this property was great. Our stay was a different story. At check in no one was at the desk, I waited for close to 10 minutes before anyone helped me. I later ask for wash clothes and was told I could get them in the morning when additional staff was there. I have stayed at many hotels and have never been told to wait till tomorrow! Unfortunately no one was in the hallway with the cart in the morning nor was there anyone at the desk so we never got the wash clothes………. Listening……

“They tried to double bill me for two rooms. I only had one room. This morning we were awakened by a false fire alarm. I decided to get cleaned up, only to find that there was no water. No kind of compensation was offered”

“Filthy place. Thick dust on coffee machine & vents. Mold in fridge which also leaked on the floor. Dirty shower, floor, and towels were stained. Our room was $100 for one night. Should have slept in the car.”

“Needs maintanace kind of put of shape. TV didn't work stairs to 2nd floor are very steep and narrow a bit dangerous. Breakfast are was dimly lit.”
