“Would have liked to have talked to someone at some at some point. I always ask about places to see, points of interest, local hikes, etc. Also, an ice machine in the office would be a great addition. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing.”

“Great place to stay for hikers who want to go to Grayson Highlands (15 min. away in Va.) or do other outdoor activities in Ashe Co. Very clean, comfortable beds, and lots of bunnies and deer in the yard. We attended the Fly Around Fest in Lansing and it was wonderful.”

“It was a peaceful and beautiful place to visit!”

“We had zero hot water the entire stay. Every guest had to take freezing cold showers. Not only was the water freezing, neither shower drained properly so we had to stand in other people’s shower water.”

“This cabin is perfect for two! Decor is attractive with mountain theme. The back porch is perfect, about 15 feet from a rushing stream. Wonderful if you like being away from everything and everybody. If you need to be entertained you might want to stay closer to civilization. Bed, recliner, and couch are all comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. I recommend this cabin”

“This was a very cute place in a very beautiful setting. I loved it ! Im pretty sure you will also..”

“Beautiful, well maintained property and responsive host. We had a great stay!”

“Great place and beautiful view, highly recommend it to everyone”

“This property was perfect for our stay in Marion. It was clean, spacious and had everythinng we needed. We liked that it was located just outside of town in a very quiet area.”

“Must go downstairs to access the main deck and two bedrooms are downstairs.”

“This was our second stay at this property and will not be the last. It has everything you would need. We loved sitting on the porch breathing in that mountain fresh air. It was so peaceful. Thank you again!”

“We loved the solitude and the fact that we could walk trails without leaving the property. The house was unique, charming, and had a wonderful homey feeling. I can’t wait to go back!”

“The house was exactly as on the website. We felt nestled away in the woods. While it felt secluded, we close to the main street, a grocery store, winery, and West Jefferson State Park. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.”

“Fun arcade and a charming little cabin near the woods”

“View from the house was stunning! House had basic necessities (towels, cleaning supplies, etc). Exactly as listed. House had a beautiful porch and a lot of space.”

“Very peaceful”

“I cannot give this hidden gem of a cabin enough stars. Five is not enough! To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement.
