「A chance encounter to break up a long journey back from Meribel to the UK. We were very pleased with every aspect of the stay. The place is beautifully decorated and ultra clean. We had some home cooked Chinese food which went down well with all the family, even accommodating gluten allergy. Next time we are passing we would definitely stay again.」

「L’hotel mériterait un ménage plus approfondi (poussière sous les lits, rideaux, placards),.. c’est pas terrible terrible… surtout lorsqu’on prévient qu’il y a deux asthmatiques dans la famille. Résultat, mauvaise nuit, crise d’asthme ! On a payé ces 2 chambres plus de 200€ pour 2 nuits… très déçus !!!」

「Le village de Marcilly est situé dans la campagne à une vingtaine de km de Pouilly en Auxois. Une maison ancienne rénovée. Notre accueil a été agréable, la personne responsable de la chambre d'hôte nous accueilli et nous a conviés à prendre un rafraîchissement. Au matin, nous avons pris le petit déjeuner dans la véranda qui donne sur un jardin agréable. Nous avons longuement échangé avec le propriétaire des lieux.」

「Staying here for 2 nights was wonderful. Wish we had the time to stay longer. Host Michel is a delight. He is an excellent chef and so interesting to talk to. We had 2 tasty breakfasts and a wonderful dinner using delicious local ingredients. He made our adult daughter's day when he had her help lead two of his beautiful horses from the pen to the stables. He also suggested we visit the nearby old village of Flavigny where we enjoyed visiting the former abbey where the famous anis bon bone are...

「We stayed in a family room but it's not in the main building, it was in a separate building on the side where we were told it was used to keep horses before. The main building was nice, reception area was classical. The swimming pool was a bit smaller than what it was shown in the photo. There were some small farms nearby. It's good experience to stay here. One thing to note is that my kids were very scared to walk on the corridor of the building we stayed in because there was no lightings, it...
