“This place is a gem! I took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez and got in late. The host was amazing at communicating with me and making arrangements for me getting in late. When I got there, he had a warm meal waiting for me (it was delicious!). The place was clean, bed was comfortable, I felt safe as a solo traveler, host had an amazing breakfast as well as a ton of local tips and suggestions. This far exceeded my expectations! The only reason there are not more reviews is because they just……

“Great location just north of Anchorage for a quiet stay but close enough to the city activities, airport, and train station. The room had a kitchenette and was extremely clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. ”
