120B E. Mars is an Incredible property to spend your vacation on South Padre Island! It has a private heated pool! The location of this 5 bedroom/3.5 bathroom townhome is perfect, being only 1/2 a block from the beach! South Padre's white sandy beaches are literally 2-3 minutes down the street from this property. This townhome features the kitchen, dining, and living area downstairs. The living room leads out to a private pool which is an ideal size for taking a dip and cooling off in our tropical island weather. All five bedrooms are spacious and provide ample room for guests to be comfortable and relax! The interior of this property is nicely updated and very well cared for! The furniture is great quality and has a nice coastal vibe! 120B E. Mars accommodates up to 16 people!

The house was ok, nowhere near as “perfect” as advertised. Pool heater kept tripping the breaker. Front door latch was sticking open so would not stay shut. I don’t think any of the games on site have all the pieces to be able to play or use. Even the corn hole game has no bean bags. Location was nice. Place was in ok condition. Not what I was expecting for the money spent. It should have been nicer.

We had a great time. The house had all the room we needed and more. The pool was a big hit with r grandson. We notice a sign about a umbrella but there was not one and no shade cover; looks like it was taken down. One thing, the dryer seems to be losing its heating element and might need to be looked at. Hangers for the master bedroom would be nice. We would still book again next summer if available.

Family had a great time. Great location and property was nice and accurate with listing. Pool could use some work, needs replastering, and couldn’t find if it had a pool light, but was nice to relax in. Despite that, I’d definitely stay here again.

We loved SPI!! Will definitely return in warmer weather!! The VRBO was spacious, but could use a deep, thorough cleaning. We were grateful that the pool was heated because the weather was unseasonably cold!! We had great food everywhere we went, and made some wonderful memories!

Family Christmas gift trip

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the home. Floors were filthy and dishes in the cabinets were dirty. We had nothing to clean it with as far as a rag or cleaning supplies. We had no decent pan to cook in and most items that were there were old or broken. We did not have enough towels to bath and clearly not enough toilet paper or paper towels for the house. Nobody wants to start off the vacation with having to go get all of these items when renting a house. They had games in the garage like bag toss but no bags to go with it. Everything was half there. Super disappointed in this choice. I am going to do a google review on this and go to the VRBO site to do an additional review. Unacceptable as a VRBO in my opinion. The pool was also filthy dirty. It is no good to advertise a pool that is not okay to swim in. Showers were dirty and bathroom floors had to be cleaned before I could let people use them. The dryer also didn’t work so washing the towels so more people could shower didn’t work either. Not a good experience for our family at all!!

House comfy and had all we needed. Neighborhood was quiet. Everything was close by. The only thing was there was no full bath down stairs and therefore had difficulty getting my grandmother upstairs for a bath. Luckily we have strong boys who helped take her up. Overall stay was great.

Great place to stay

The staff was very helpful! I had a crisis on Friday and I contacted management to see if I could extend checkout time on Saturday and they were kind to extend checkout time for 2 hours. Only negative is the swimming pool was kind of small for 6 grandkids, but they enjoyed it! I loved staying here!

Very nice place to stay but the neighbors had the music blasting and yelling. Police went over

nice property but not a great surrounding. Police had to go by to control things. Just make sure you have neighbors that aren't loud and out of control.

Bugs and water issue

Property was nice except for the cockroaches we found in the kitchen. And our hot water would shut off daily. We had to have maintenance come daily to fix this.

We rented this unit March 19-26, 2021 and were very pleased with the property. It had the hotel feel when we went into the bathrooms with the amenities needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. Overall, it was a great place . Pros: Clean, necessities provided (paper towels, tp, dishwasher pods, etc); fridge in garage; water filter Cons: Pool is not heated; grill grate was rusted (purchased a new one); dull knives

Great Location, needs help

Nice property but needs some TLC. Not very clean, dirt on the floors, cobwebs in the kitchen and living room, silverware was dirty, and the bathroom tub had hair all over it, all of which is concerning especially during Covid. The drains were very slow and 1 toilet was backed up for several days, but maybe the sewer system on the island is slow. The outside furniture around the pool is unusable so bring your own if you are wanting to sit around the pool. Also I had to call the property manager several times ahead of our arrival to get our check in instructions and they assured us we would get a text with instructions. When we got to the property still no instructions so had to call again, so if you are arriving after hours make sure you have the codes to get in. The property manager answers the phone but do not follow thru with what they say they will do. We also found out that the codes for the garage door and the front door are not changed between renters which is very concerning about the safety of the rental. The one nice thing about the property is that in 5 minutes you can be on the beach.

Awesome Family Vacay

Everyone enjoyed the house-the house was awesome and everyone loved staying there. Felt like we were all at our own home. The house provided everything that was needed in a vacation! Family was very very happy!! We would love to rent this house again!

Had extras at the house.. big wagon for the beach, umbrella, pool toys.. internet sucked.. so be prepared for that.. other than that loved the property.. management company promptly responded to calls about the internet.. didn't fix it.. but I would stay here again!
