「The property is a very good restoration of hotels from 100+ years ago, very nostalgic for me. The staff is proficient and friendly.」

「TV's didn't work. changed batteries twice and remote once. thermostat in room all taped up. Staff at front desk was very helpful. brought a blanket and tried to fix remote. fixed the heater. very thin beadspread and no blanket. lots of drug deals going on outside the main lobby. i did not feel secure there.」

「Expedia booked us the wrong day. We stayed Friday and Saturday. They booked us Sunday. Expedia refused to credit us Sunday unless the hotel oks it. I spoke to the hotel desk several times. They assured me they would take care of it. They did not! So I got charged for a room i never used!」

Not only a wealth of information, but a great cook who served us daily breakfast along with sharing stories and information about Juneau. The number of eagles who graced us with their daily presence was incredible. A cozy, comfortable, clean place that was the perfect first part of our Alaskan journey. Thank you John for everything!!
