「A small converted barn that feels like what it says on the tin. A cozy cabin surrounded by trees. There was a lovely pond on the property and a loft above the kitchen. I loved the trees surrounding the property it offered a lot of privacy. Communication with the owner was fast and effective. The instant check in was great. The only problem was that I wasn't provided with the door code by Expedia, so I had to ask the owner before I could get in. He responded quickly and we had a wonderful time....

「This is NOT a 3 bedroom, it is a 2 bedroom with a small futon in the living room. Access is by outside stairs that are grate-style. Apartment was clean except for floors and under the beds. Kitchen was great (stovetop bulb is not operational), plenty of cookware and kitchenware. Internet was not working. Close to downtown area, plenty of parking, walking distance to local shops, quiet area.」

「This property owner is non communicative with both guests and VRBO. They will eventually, at the last minute when prompted by vrbo, send check in instructions and say they expect a 5 star review. We would not feel safe traveling to this property (especially with children) without solid communication. All onus is placed on guests no matter the circumstances. 「It was convenient having a garage for our car and luckily our car is small, because it barely fit. Nonetheless, a great feature. The place was clean, quaint, and adequate for the two of us. It was decorated to feel very homey. I recommend this as an option to stay if you are in the Harrisburg, Shawnee National Forest area.」

「My dog and I stayed 2 nights for a visit with family in the area. The yard is nice for pets, the deck has gates to keep pets or children in part of it, there's plenty of seating outside to sit for morning coffee or in the evening plus a small firepit with a couple of seats. My dog was not crazy about the spiral staircase but he is a little anxious at times so I carried him up for bed then we were able to go out on the patio and down the wooden staircase in the morning. 「Dianna, the host, is so nice. She communicated very well, and she went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth as it could be. Our check-in was very straightforward. We stayed there for a night to rest on our way to TN, and we will for sure do it again.」
