「My only negative feedback is that there was not many options for breakfast. I have celiac, and the only thing I could eat was yogurt and fruit. The bananas were very ripe. I don’t expect much from hotel breakfasts but it would be nice to have a few more options.」

「The room smelled musty, like carpet that needed cleaned and like a pet had an accident . The outer pane of the window was broken out. The beds were not as comfortable as in the past. The property is due for a remodel.」

「This is an ideal stop for those looking to get away from standard, modern hotels. The old house (inc restaurant) is presented very much as it was in its heyday. The complimentary tour was informative and entertains. Most bedrooms are in buildings set around the plantation and thoughtfully decorated but with a/c and good shower facilities.breakfast was limited to a choice of two dishes (plus juice, fruit, etc) perfectly adequate and served in another out building which facilitated a walk through...

「The staff was some of the nicest that I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The breakfast was top-notch quality and quantity the rates were spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. I needed a bathtub instead of a shower and we were there for a long-term stay and as soon as one became available, they very nicely change the room over for us. Also they found a room for us when another hotel in town had overbooked and made space for our family. The pool was a good size and very cute friendly....

「One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten in a motel or hotel. And the only problem we had was the one chair in our room so one of us had to sit on the best to watch television. We did “steal” another chair from the lobby but the cleaning crew returned it after a couple of days, but we were leaving by then. :) Everything else was exceptional plus!」
