“Loved the room layout. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking to the downtown shops, to the beach, and along the paved bluff above the lake. The bathroom supplied plentiful towels. The separate bedroom was very much appreciated. Drinks on the patio was enjoyed by my group as well as the well stocked Continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful from check in to wait staff. We plan on returning for family vacations.”

“Staff were friendly and location is great for visiting the surrounding area. Place was recently sold and renovated, but it's still a work in progress. Rooms on the south west side have cool views to the beach and river. Parking gets crowded, especially with visitors who aren't hotel guests. Room had some broken bathroom tiles and elevator glitched while we were on it. At the end of the day, it's an affordable place that puts you close to town and the beach.”

I originally scheduled only one night via Expedia, then called them and added another night, and the lady that answered the phone was very friendly and professional. She was also the same lady that checked us in, and she is very friendly and professional in-person as well. The hotels exterior, interior and our room were very clean. The other staff members were very friendly and professional as well. The air conditioner worked great and was great to have since……

“Housekeeping never cleaned room for the two nights we were there. Only light in bathroom is connected to fan and is VERY loud when on making it virtually impossible to use. Food was so so.”

“The property was old but had new carpet in halls and room. Upon checkin We had an issue with our room key not working. After having the front desk rekey it 3 times, the person at the desk came up and said the mechanism needed a new battery. He let us in our room using a master key. He said he would upgrade our rooom for us due to the trouble if one was available. We did not hear from him again. The battery was changed. We left for a wedding in the area and returned after 1230 am - only to……

“The breakfast on Saturday morning was the best part of the whole stay. Great server great food and quite tasty ! The room was very clean but the internet was intermittent The TV was on and off every time it rained. Plus our room phone did not work at all.... Needs work. ✌”
