「Good basic accommodation to rear of pub. Convenient for food and helpful access from parking along road to rear. Some basics missing for self catering breakfast even if only with a microwave and toaster - such as tea towel, washing up brush」

「Good location and room was clean and spacious with nice decor. The hotel is not air conditioned and we had to have the curtains pulled most of the time to keep the sun and heat out. The room was much warmer than the rest of the hotel and it was pretty difficult to sleep. The garden is a real benefit but could do with repairs and proper maintenance and care. The attractive sleigh bed in the room was comfortable but the legs stuck out into the room and I managed to break my little toe on one. ...

「Staff were helpful on arrival.room/suite was very big. Bigger than my first flat! Whilst it had charm it was clearly an old building and it needs a little tlc but that said, it was clean and excellent value. I would stay again.」

「Restaurant for breakfast was really good, tables not too close together. Rooms well looked after with extra items, little coffee machine and planty of choice of teas. Hot weekend so could have done with a fan. Only thing I would suggest is to make signage for reception clearer when arriving from the rear car park. The sign over the door was overgrown...」

「After check in we were advised that we were in “The Residence” section of the hotel. Upon entering we were greeted by filthy carpeted stairs leading up to our room. On opening the door we were then met by a vile smell…the room had clearly not been used/aired for some time. The carpet was covered in stains, the bed frame fabric was ripped, a freestanding chair was also covered in stains. All this before inspecting the bathroom….disgustingly dirty. Shower door was thick with dirt & limescale,...
