In saying that, one has to remember that the older properties in Amsterdam are very narrow, to cram in many rooms, then the rooms are not going to be that large. What I will say is that the room was adequate for sleeping and showering in, it was clean and everything that one could want was there. “Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. “We spent 4 nights at Heavens Hotel whilst we visited friends in Hoorn, and the hotel was an absolute delight! The setting within an old church is so unique - the room was large and roomy, very clean, a lovely bathroom.
