Great family getaway

Great spot for our entire extended family to stay. Lots of room and fun for ages 10-55. Close to activities like kayaking Weeki Wachee where we say manatee. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Perfect Getaway For Our Large Family!

Our ((extra)) large family consisting of 5 adults, 5 teenagers, and 4 kids had a great stay! :) plenty of space for everyone and also nice large common areas. Heated pool and hot tub were a hit! As well as the four kayaks available at the property.

Family Vacation

The house was wonderful. I had all my adult children there and the home offered enough space that we weren’t on top of one another. We had a great time and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Definitely would consider returning.

Perfect family house!

We loved this place for our 3 Gen family and dog. The pool was beautiful, the house was spacious and well set up, with plenty of towels, dishes, even fishing gear and kayaks. We loved it and would definitely rent again. Close to some terrific restaurants and right on the water.

Beautiful area and accommodates large group

Overall we enjoyed the stay at Hibiscus House. The pool area was beautiful, however access to the pool is tricky..a metal spiral staircase. The home is decorated nicely, tons of towels and kitchen stuff. Lots of comfortable beds.

Great Spot for a family vacation

We had our family reunion at this beautiful park from 5/31/24 through 6/3/24. It was just as advertised. Plenty of room for our 13 people. The house was great. The pool and spa did not disappoint. The canal was wonderful for kayaking and fishing. And the owner, Yael, was great to work with.. We will definitely return.

Convenient and awesome patio/pool area!

Very convenient location for us to visit with family and friends around Tampa area. House is huge with plenty of space and areas I be together and retreat. There’s a little deferred maintenance and cleanliness was an issue when we arrived. The hosts were great with communication and refunded our cleaning fee. Thank you!

Amazing House

We were in town to celebrate a 100th birthday. This house is so big and allowed all us adults to spread out - plenty of sleeping options. Multiple decks and areas to work if you need to and great place to congregate if you are visiting with extended family. Even an open loft area to practice yoga with provided HDMI cable to connect laptop to big screen!! The owners were so gracious providing us with extra blankets and heaters when the temperature unexpectedly dropped a couple of the days. What is great is how quickly it then warms up. Just a wonderful house in a lovely quiet neighborhood and great hosts.

Wonderful weekend getaway!!

I booked this house with a few friends and family for my 35th birthday weekend! I literally just wanted to relax in a pool and enjoy the weekend, and this property did not disappoint at all. The kayaks are a special touch too and were fun to use. The house was clean, the neighbors were friendly, there was enough parking. The house set up is great. Everything was clean and easy to find. The owners were great the very few times I reached out, quick to respond too, we are looking at booking here again with just family later this year!

Family Reunion

My adult children and adult grandchildren are scattered. From SanDiego , New Jersey, Port st LucyFL, Manhattan,NY , and Washington DC. The house was beautiful inside there was plenty of room to accommodate this large group. A wonderful kitchen (we are eat at home folks! A balcony with pleanty of seating overlooking the pool and spa lovely at night! No complaints from anyone! It was a fabulous stay! Thank you. There is plenty to do for entertainment and grocery stores close by!

New year getaway

The house is beautiful and the neighborhood is perfect. The neighbors were friendly. Loved everything about this house, the space, and the area. The only thing that would have made the stay perfect was if it were cleaner. Its obvious the cleaning company comes in and makes the beds and restocks the linen closet and may sweep up the crumbs. This place needs a deep clean, the floors need mopped, furniture needs dusted, dishes in the cabinets need cleaned, just to name a few things. If visiting the area again I'd definitely pick this place, even if I had some cleaning to do!

Summer family vaca 2024

We just returned from another family vacation and made it thru our first hurricane!! This year we stayed at the Hibiscus House and it was wonderful! Very clean, plenty of room, and furnished with the things we needed for our week. Plenty of towels, dishes, and glassware. if you plan on baking you may want to bring a mixing bowl and 9x13 pans. We were able to easily pick up disposable ones at the Dollar General nearby. There is a nice sized playroom that can easily be used as another bedroom if you bring an air mattress. Our grandkids loved the pool and fishing. Lots of shopping nearby but it was a drive to other attractions. We wouldn’t hesitate to return !

Perfect for a Family Vacation!

Our group of 6 adults and 2 teenagers just returned from our 4 night stay at the Hibiscus Beach House and our entire stay was absolutely perfect! The home itself is clean, bright and beautiful and Yael, the property owner, is amazing if you have any issues or just questions about the area. There were plenty of beds as well as multiple TV's and a game room for inside entertainment. We also spent a lot of time outside swimming in the pool, kayaking and going out on the paddleboat. The location is on a quiet canal, but just a few blocks away are several local beach restaurants, most of which provide nightly entertainment. The location is also close enough to parks such as Rainbow Springs, Weeki Wachee and Crystal River. It's also an easy drive to Tampa. We went tubing on Rainbow River and the younger group all went to Busch Gardens for a day. You can't go wrong with this property! We will definitely be back!

Hernando beach

Perfect location, the house was very spacious. Perfect outdoor space. The house is older but that did not affect our enjoyment of the house. It was nice to be able to use the kayaks, the kids enjoyed fishing on the dock. The kitchen lacks some of the needed dishes but we got by just fine. Found a few bugs but it is a house in Florida, so it is be expected!

Our family recently stayed at this property for a week. The home is very nice with much open space. Our family does a vacation every 2 years and our group agreed this was the best vacation home we're rented. The host was very responsive to questions before, during, and after our rental was complete.
