    Please Note:

    1. Pet Policy: **This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note, if we find evidence of an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and guests will be charged a $400 non-refundable fine. This is also grounds for immediate removal of the guests from the home.

    2. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $200.00 / per day.

    3. Note, we do have a security camera at the home and it is recording 24/7, 365 days a year. It is facing the exterior of the home. There are no cameras inside the home.

    4. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.

    5. Upon booking, each guest will receive a guest rental agreement. This must be signed before the House Manual (which includes access instructions for the property) is sent.

    6. Swim at your own risk in the Hot Tub

    7. We provide complimentary 24/7 communication to ensure that your stay exceeds your expectations! Please feel free to reach out to us day or night and we will provide you with a swift response!

    8. There are NO LONG CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS! We want for you to be able to fully enjoy every minute of your stay at the lodge!

We had a lovely stay! The property provided the perfect t place for our family to stay! We enjoyed the hot tub and the location. Proximity to State College, Poe Valley, and the local caves meant we had lots to do in the area! It was a great week for our family!

Great place to stay near Penn State University. Plenty of space to hang in one room with a big family and great outdoor patios and decks.

The pillows are terrible. The instructions for the key pad were in accurate and confusing. Two sets of numbers were shown as if it was a 10 digit code. Multiple communications with different phone numbers made it confusing and time consuming to get the door open

Clean and cozy!

Perfect stay for a short Penn State getaway! The house was clean, cozy, and provided all the amenities. Hosts were easily accessible.

Hidden Paradise

Beautiful secluded lodge. Well stocked supplies, plenty of room for grandkids to play. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the yard. Will definitely stay here again.

The house was clean as was the hot tub. The grill and fire pit were in great condition. Covered deck and porches were lovely with a beautiful view. Kitchen well stocked with a bowl of fresh fruit to welcome us. Hosts were very responsive. Not much to do nearby. Nice hiking 35-45 minutes away. Very relaxing place to stay.

The place is amazing and we will cherish the great memories. There were a couple of little things that prevent a higher rating. First, the interior lighting is very harsh and takes away from the ambiance of the lodge. Second, there was a ladybug infestation that made for some unpleasant situations (e.g. crawling on pillows, climbing on toothbrushes)

Great Place. Wish the internet was faster and could handle streaming on devices or a TV. But other than that it’s a Great Place, and look forward to staying again next year.

Beautiful and serene!

This property is amazing, the host has provided you with almost everything you need. For a very relaxing stay, we were pleasantly surprised that on their wall they have a little section where people can sign it, which was really nice. We will keep this in our saved list because we will most shortly go back.

Amazing place

We had a group going to the Penn State game. The place was beautiful and the experience was terrific. It is very secluded and rural with gorgeous scenery all around. Checking in was a breeze. It’s a bit of a long ride from the stadium, but worth it.

Clean, well stocked rental in a quiet but well-situated location among the farms and forests of central PA. Very nice modern kitchen, comfortable beds. Lots of coffee, paper towels & even a bowl of fresh fruit were provided. Loved the grill, fire pit, hot tub and decks for outdoor relaxation. Near the lovely towns of Bellefonte and State College, with plenty of good options for dining and shopping. For the fishermen, Penns, Spring, Bald Eagle, and Fishing Creeks are all within a 30 min drive. We would happily return for another stay at Maple Hill Lodge.
