Mountain delight

Quiet, modern, clean property. Situated in the middle of the wonderful mountain outdoors. Enjoyed our stay and had plenty to do.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and private. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything you need. Host was clear in communications. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Perfect getaway

This is the cutest house in the forest. My stay was so peaceful and quiet. The perfect getaway for a while! Everything was extremely neat and tidy and the host was always responsive and helped me whenever I needed something! Looking forward to coming back :)

Home away from home

Needed a place to stay while in town working. The house was in a very quiet location with deer and other wild life to observe. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was controlled at east.. The kitchen had everything I needed. Will stay again.

Wonderful secluded mountain getaway

We rented Spirit of the River this past weekend and were highly satisfied with the beautiful house and Pristine staff. Everything was as expected and I was contacted before, during and after our stay. I didn’t have any issues or needs but it was nice knowing they were there for us if we did need them. This rental has to be very new. It was spotless and wonderful. Would definitely rent another property from them again!

The house and location are great. The signage to the property could be improved. The property manager uses a generic information packet. Many things did not apply to this listing, such as hot tub and no dogs allowed. The only issue we had was that the out door water spigots had the water turned off and we needed to wash our dog's paws off. We were able to get that resolved. It was a beautiful place with a great spot to go down to the river. I felt the total cost for 3 nights was high compared to comparable VRBO's we have stayed at.

was pleasantly surprised that all was exactly as advertised. perhaps the only thing that wasn't clear to me was the steep hike down to the river thus steep hike back to the house!! fortunately we are both very fit. they DO say you need a 4 wheeler or all wheel to access river but i thought that meant if you were unloading a canoe or bunch of kayaks. the house was impeccable. the river, in spite of the ravages of helene a year ago, was also beautiful and clean. you do get A LOT of communications (texts/emails) from rental company-- way more than what i needed as they had a tendency to be redundant--but i guess that's better than no communications. its a bit expensive but worth it.
