Really good hostel, stayed with my family although a little pricey….perhaps because of the euros football match. A little out of town but great views and accessed via tram or bus. These were free which was great but again I guess because of the football. Accommodation was refurbished and modern and breakfast really good.

В целом , переночевать можно .

Останавливалась на три ночи , приезжала на обучение в Санкт-Галлен . Простой , чистый хостел. в номере: двухярусная кровать , душ, стол и два стула , удобства на этаже . было холодно , батарея плохо греет . Неудобное время заселения в отель : с 17-00, пришлось долго ждать . Завтрак хороший , с 7-30 до 9-00 .Самое удобное -это месторасположение , добираться очень быстро от ж/д вокзала , 4 остановки на трамвае S21, от остановки до отеля 1 минута пешком вниз. Красивый вид на город из столовой .

Moderne mais ambiance froide

Résidence mal identifiée depuis l'arrêt du tram. Accueil peu chaleureux avec peu d'informations. Installations modernes mais il faut faire soi-même son lit. On ne trouve aucun accessoire, pas même du savon dans les douches.

자동차 여행을 하시는 분들께 잠시 머물다가는 곳으로 가성비 괜찮습니다. 다만 1) 주차공간이 숙소와 거리가 있고, 2) 화장실이 외부에 있으며, 3) 유스호스텔이다 보니 학생들의 왁자지껄함이 있을 수도 있고, 4) 시내 접근은 도보로 쉽지않습니다.

Close to tram

We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library.
