“Very good breakfast options, but no fruit.”

“On arrival our room was upgraded to a large seaview room with a walk in shower which was a very nice welcome. The Pump room bar is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food both at breakfast and in the evening venues is top notch. Dining is a particular highlight which should not be missed with a very good menu expertly prepared and served to a really high standard. ”

“Our large room was excellent. It had been recently refurbished, along with the en-suite shower room. It had a fantastic view of the water. The food was good and Chelsea was a very pleasant and efficient member of staff. ”

“The whole building was unique. unusual but very comfortable. We could have done with another chair in the Room.....but other than that fine. 'Mine host ' was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of banter.”

“Everything about our stay at the Boat House Hotel in Seaview was perfect. The room was lovely — spotless, comfortable, and full of character. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the hotel at such a high standard. The hospitality was second to none. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and couldn’t do enough for us. “We had a beach view room which was spacious and had an absolutely stunning view over the beach and cliffs over a distance. We came to the island for my son’s fossil hunting. He’s 9. We listened to the high tides at night, absolutely worth it. Even with the window open, it’s still warm during the day in the winter. Will revisit. ”

“Room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, modern but in keeping with the age and style of the building. Breakfast was fantastic, with a really nice menu to choose from. All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting Soutsea and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend paying the extra for a parking bay at the front of the hotel as street parking could be tricky. We stayed to visit family in Southsea and will definitely use this hotel again!”
