"There was ample parking and it was very easy to park including electric parking points. The room was very clean, I did not stay for breakfast so can't comment, but the evneing meal in the restaurant was five stars from me, excellent food. The only negative thing I have to say is that was waiting 30 minutes for desserts and the outside tables in the garden did not cleared throughout the day, and it was a sunny day, so ther ewere lots of people outside but all the tables had dirty glasses on them. Overall a very ennjoyable stay and I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family."

"The room was clean and beautifully furnished and the bathroom was spotless too, with luxury toiletries. The motion censor night light in the bathroom was also a really thoughtful idea. I didn’t t have breakfast or an evening meal, so unable to comment on these. The only thing I would say was that I was surprised that access to my room was directly from the street. As a solo traveller, I was a little alarmed by this in terms of security, but Dorchester is a quiet village and there was not much noise from the road."

"A lovely boutique hotel right on the river Thames. Our room was lovely and cosy ; comfy bed and nice bath ( though there was a leak which we reported) ; It was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was ok - no fruit or GF cereal for a reason that did not stack up ; No GF sausages which is just lazy chefing ( I say this on many reviews) so a GF breakfast reduces to bacon egg and beans - not a problem but with a bit of thought , could be so much better at £15. Does not detract from the fact we would stay again"

"Booked a deluxe single room and it was a substandard double. Not everyone would be happy with a double bed when booked single. Instructions were to message if arriving after 4pm. I didn't know an exact arrival time, however they asked for my mobile and time again, so could provide self checkin, so gave estimated arrival and mobile, then they didn't respond. On arrival it says ring both bells but nobody came for few minutes then sounded impatient as expected me to just walk in! Had to pre-book breakfast for both days at start. Told breakfast 8-9am, but still being set out at 8.15 on first day. Was not told how it worked so just had to work it out. Terrible hosting. Scrambled eggs had brown flecks through it day 1 and was more like fried beaten up eggs on day 2 with dark brown base. Both days was only luke warm. On day 2 cooked food arrived before I'd hardly started my cereal. I wasn't happy with my room either, very dusty, orange pips on the floor, a half drunk bottle bottle of drink in the bottle cooler, out of date UHT milk, no biscuits as shown in the photos, no mirror in the bathroom just fittings for one, shower head didn't fit in the holder properly and fell on me twice, shower temperature control did not work so too hot, (I tried turning it both ways!), extension socket from an extension sockets (how did that pass safety check?), one window had no closure and not a decent lock on door so concerned for my safety especially as all single glazed. Room scruffy "

"We had a lovely weekend, great walks and good food and drink at local pubs all within walking distance for us. Our hosts were very welcoming and the property is well equipped.We has some lovely evenings sat around the wood burner and would visit again. "
