"Room was clean enough, although when we went to use the bathroom someone had already used it without flushing !! "

"Decent stay that you can expect from a hotel based in the city centre, the room size was small for a family of 4, booked it for the pool only to realise that it was extremely busy when we wanted to use it and had to wait to get in. "

"Excellent location being so close to Cardiff Bay and free parking as hotel guest is nice. You can tell the property is quite dated though and could do with some upgrades to rooms. Our air con did not seem to be working or not strong enough so that could be an improvement. Didn't try the restaurant but the bar area seemed nice and relaxing to sit and lounge."

"Second time I’ve stayed here this year. Everyone’s always friendly and helpful good quality rooms for a good price and even got upgraded on our first stay. Will definitely be returning "

"We had a disappointing experience during our stay. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with dirty towels left behind. Parking was advertised as available for £12, but it was actually under renovation. We were not informed of this in advance. There were no proper payment options on arrival. The only way to pay was via email or text, which was not possible due to poor signal and no internet access. This should have been communicated beforehand so we could have paid in advance. The staff were unhelpful and rude. We arrived a few hours early and were told to leave and return at 4pm, despite the website stating check-in is at 3pm. Overall, the lack of communication and poor service made the stay frustrating - not worth the price paid at all."

"Room was tiny. False advertisement suggesting there is a work desk. I wrote my request in advance that I need a room with a work desk. This was not acknowledged and on my arrival the reception team apologised as none of their room have a work desk. There is a subtle smell of stinking foot in the room, not overpowering but not pleasant. Price is the only saving grace of the hotel. Am very disappointed with the false advertisement. "

"Lovely room, nice decor. Bed a bit high and needs a bit more room near the wall (room is big so not sure why such narrow gap between the bed and wall). Bathroom is big and shower was powerful. Tea/coffee /kettle /fridge in the room Located in the city centre with shops/bars/ restaurants within a few minutes. Breakfast was good quality and plenty of options "
