In regards of my stay at“For Rest Aparthotel”The taxi driver dropped us off.long story short in a different area,after repeatedly asking for directions from the locals & stores.google map was no help,so I continued asking the locals & stores for the location.Nobody seemed to know where it is located,so in my desperation I decided to call the hotel,at this point we’ve been walking around for 40minutes trying to locate the place.in desperation I called and a woman answered impatiently asking “who is this?!”I told her my name and she ask why I’m I calling?I told her I’m booked to stay at For Rest Aparthotel,but I’m lost”.She went on to say it’s “inappropriate”to call her at this time(10:43pm)Then she said to me, “Didn’t my brother give you the code to access the building?”I replied “yes he did.”and I apologises & she ignored my desperation and reason for calling.As a guest at their hotel,with two kids.She went on to remind me how inappropriate it is for me to call at this time,I kept on apologising to her.She took no notice of my desperation and need of help.I’m extremely saddened by it.I felt unwelcome & unsafe staying in‘ForRestAparthotel’i was treated poorly by the owners.Thank God to the people at the bar(Ester Pub)their kindness and effort to help us find our way resume the excitement we felt before the incident.in the morning I spoke to Alexei,about the incident he basically said it’s not their problem & I’m at fault & after one night I checked us out & into another hotel.

It was a quiet place, clean, looked exactly in the photos. Close to shops, restaurants, bus stops. Just seven minutes walk to the nearest beach. This was an excellent price for value, while in a budget category, it contained all basic amenities, I needed. The communication before and during the stay with the Family was prompt, friendly, professional.

Brother and sister staff are friendly and very nice. The people are good, clean, spacious and generally comfortable! No mosquitoes even with the windows open. Air conditioning is extra money, but may be essential for Japanese! We stayed with a fan, but the breaker tripped a few times. It automatically recovers with a sound after about 30 seconds. Laundry was 5 euros（maybe）, but we couldn't ask for it because we passed the staff, so we paid 8 euros to wash our clothes at BLUWASH in the neighbourhood. Lots of beaches and restaurants, supermarket and SPAR open 24 hours. Bus stops are scattered around the area (about 5), so easy to get to! There were 2 USB sockets, but for some reason they didn't work, so the conversion plugs we brought from Japan were useful. TV programme settings were difficult for me, I was watching German programmes. I really wanted to watch Malta International. The shower head hanging point is about 2m high. I had to use a bath chair. I mentioned a lot, but I love this hotel.

Good location, a good size flat, staff is very kind. The kitchen provides basic staff to cook, a microwave and a blender will improve the stay, the toilet needs more detail in cleaning a bit of fungus in the shower

Excellent accueil, Très bon rapport Qualité prix
Très bon séjour, très agréable. L hôtel est très bien situé pour la mer et les axes/stations de bus. Il y tout dans le quartier (marchands, boutiques et resto). Hôtel de confort simple mais l accueil y est excellent! Mireille et sa famille est toujours à l écoute, prêt à rendre service t faire en sorte que tout se passe très bien. Nous recommandons leur hospitalité et gentillesse!

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato in quest' aparthotel la prima settimana di settembre. Gli appartamenti sono recentemente ristrutturati ampi e forniti di tutto il necessario. Ottima la pulizia e il cambio biancheria a metà settimana. Se si prenota tramite il loro sito si ha a disposizione il transfert gratuito da e per ľaeroporto. Tutta la famiglia che gestisce la struttura parla anche l'italiano ed è stata molto cordiale ed accogliente, dandoci anche alcune informazioni su cosa visitare sull'isola. Buona la posizione a due passi dal centro di Bugibba dove ci sono parecchi locali,negozietti, le fermate degli autobus e le partenze per escursioni in barca per Gozo e Comino. L' unica pecca è la mancanza di parcheggio privato, noi che abbiamo noleggiato la macchima abbiamo faticato ogni giorno per trovare un posto, a parte questo molto consigliato.

No Wifi free or otherwise!
Wifi not working at all, wiped my friends I-Pad of all data, and I needed my 'phone for work. Had to walk down near the square where we had great reception and signals.The local area is seedy to say the least , with a number of massage parlours , legit and otherwise, and none of it very well lit at night. I was glad I was not on my own. However, having said this the beds were comfortable, it was very clean, even 'though nothing was cleaned or towels renewed during our stay, with a number of unexpected additions to normal self catering accomodation, namely tooth brushes , razors and shower gel dispenser in the bathroom, cleaning products and tea towels in the kitchen.The owners were helpful.

Just for your information, kindly note, when residing in Self Catering apartment, one have to ask for extra towels at the reception area. The main difference is that we offer extra towels Free of charge, and yes as you well stated unlike to other similar self-catering premises we do offer also tooth brushes, razors , shower gel, first aid kits and much more. Calme pour petit budget
Nous avons été déçus du For Rest Apartment à Bugibba. Nous savions que c’était un 2 étoiles et les photos sont assez représentatives mais tout de même, il n’est pas très bien équipé : pas de grille-pain, ni de micro-ondes(pas essentiel) ou bouilloire et les ustensiles de cuisine sont très rudimentaires. La climatisation n’est pas gratuite. Nous n’avions pas remarqué dans le descriptif., Il faut payer 5 euros par jour. Nous avions vu qu’il avait été rénové… on se demande encore où. La salle de bain est minuscule, le rideau de douche… toujours une source de germes donc pas super propre mais c’est très spacieux, fait tout en long avec un petit balcon. La vue mer ne vaut pas la peine. On la voit très loin et la vue sur les bâtiments des environs n’est pas super non plus. C’est très calme et bien situé avec un ascenceur, à 10 minutes à pied du bord de mer et des restos de Bugibba. Pour deux nuits, c'était correct. Mireille est très gentille et a communiqué avec nous pour planifier notre arrivée. Nous ne referons pas. Le prix est correct.

Ok hotel with superb restaurant
The room was quite big, but to get aircondition you had to pay an extra fee. There were a couple of things that could have been better. The hotel seems in need of a bit of maintenance. The wifi was only working for a few hours during our stay, there were no batteries for the remote or dishsoap, and the beddingen could have been cleaner. On the positive side the balcony was nice and the restaurant on the first floor, called Amarcord, served delicious food. The restaurant is well worth a visit if you are in Bugibba. The guys running the hotel was also nice.

Ein Bad, eine Küche, ein Schlafzimmer und ein Balkon. Nichts auf Luxusniveau, der Kühlschrank hat z.b. schon einige Schrammen gehabt,aber insgesamt hat man sein eigenes Reich und alles hat funktioniert.Die Wifi Verbindung war nicht immer Stabil, aber OK. Bushaltestellen sind in der Nähe um überall hinzukommen. Nur wenn man sehr Früh abreisen möchte, um zur Fähre oder zum Flughafen zu kommem, kann es mit dem Bus knapp werden.

Very reasonable appartment hotel in Malta.
In this apparthotel nobody will be singing or entertaining you;). You have to clean the room yourself. But I like the privacy, nobody sneeking around my things. The reception was not open all the time, but you can call them anytime when needed. The were very helpful. We asked for more towels and they gave it to us. Air condition is in the room, and you have to buy cards to use it. The surrundings are quite, but there is a minor hill nearby, but you could take a longer way in the other direction, if you have difficulties with some handicap. If you buy bus week card you can travel around for 22 Euro. In Mellieha bay is a sandy beach, but nearby are stone beaches with bath bridges.

Bella struttura, semplice ma pulita!
Abbiamo soggiornato in uno degli appartamenti della struttura verso la fine di settembre. Il personale É stato gentilissimo fin da subito, permettendoci di fare il check in immediatamente al nostro arrivo; il nostro appartamento era semplice ma pulito e molto accogliente, letti comodi, bagno minimal ma funzionale. La posizione É comoda, a pochi passi dal mare, dai ristoranti e dai negozietti. Consigliato, ci torneremo! Economico, adatto a ospiti non troppo pretenziosi.

La mia ragazza ed io, abbiamo pernottato in questa struttura dall'8 al 14 Agosto 2015. La struttura dista dall'aereoporto con bus, ca 45 min al costo di 2 €. Non avevamo la colazione inclusa ma la camera, che è un mini appartamento di ca 25 mq, aveva frigo e tutte le cose che vengono descritte al momento della prenotazione.

Cheap and cheerful.
We went for few days. The hotel is basic but this is reflected in the price. Our apartment was had five beds, a fridge, cooker, air conditioning (which required a card top-up - we used the electric fans), two shower/toilets and a TV (although we couldn't get it to work). The owners were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of St Paul's Bay, where one can find bars, restaurants, a nice (but small) beach front, water sports, boat tours, etc. The small restaurant/bar next to the hotel offers discounts to hotel guests and another hotel nearby offers non-guests the use of its small outdoor pool. There are grocery shops and a place that offers full English breakfast within the immediate vicinity. Be warned that the hotel is not very well known, even to taxi drivers, some of whom still did not know it if we showed them the hotel's business card with the address and a small map on it. It's probably best, therefore, to book your room through the hotel's website and take advantage of the free airport shuttle that they offer (both ways). We booked our shuttle separately and the shuttle to take us back to the airport was 40 minutes late! Overall, if you're looking for luxury you should look elsewhere, but if you're looking for cheap and basic accommodation, I'd have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Zona centrale,bugiba è fantastica.La camera è ampia ma mi aspettavo di più. Una migliore pulizia...I mobili sono vecchi e il bagno piccolOssimo.la hall dell hotel puzza.

Ho soggiornato con mia moglie dal 11 al 16 luglio 2015. Ne siamo rimasti soddisfatti sia per la pulizia, la posizione a cinque minuti a piedi dal centro di bugibba e vicino alle fermate dei bus per girare Malta. L'appartamento è dotato di ventilatore, tv color, condizionatore (extra a pagamento - ma a mio parere non serve poiche la sera basta aprire le finestre e si dorme benissimo), adattatore per presa elettrica europea e tutti i confort di cui si può disporre. L'hotel è raggiungibile se arrivate in aeroporto attraverso il bus X3 e scendete alla fermata "QROLL" in Bugibba. (circa 1h e 30'). Una volta scesi, subito vicino (praticamente attaccata) la fermata c'è una strada in salita (un po' ripida) salitela e alla fine girate a sinistra. Noterete un locale chiamato "Prosecco", lì si trova "For Rest Aparthotel". I proprietari, due fratelli, sono gentilissimi e disponibili per qualsiasi cosa abbiate bisogno e parlano benissimo l'italiano. Se dovete girare molto vi conviene, appena arrivate in aeroporto, fare l'abbonamento settimanale dei bus che costa € 21,00 e potete usare illimitatamente per 7 giorni tutti i bus che girano a Malta, Gozo e i bus notturni indicati dalla lettera N( es. N11, etc). Ogni singola corsa costa € 2,00. I bus notturni sono attivi solo il Venerdì e il Sabato. X altre Info su Malta contattatemi.

Excellent price/quality ratio & will surely stay here again. Free wifi/internet workstation. Only negative is that no international tv channels are available. Good base from which to explore the various parts of Malta (but beware the Malta public bus system is kind of slow with plenty of stops and drivers spending lots of time selling tickets to boarding passengers)

Quiet location, close to all amenities
A lovely large room, with balcony towards the sea, fully stocked kitchen with gas stove/hob and large fridge, fan, wifi and air conditioning for small extra charge (we didn't need as had a good breeze with balcony door open and using the provided wall fan). 10 minute walk to beach, buses, numerous restaurants and attractions. Cheap (and delicious) pizza restaurant directly downstairs. A great place to stay for those on a budget.

Tyvärr är jag inte alls nöjd med detta lägenhetshotell. Det var sunkigt, toaletten läkte och personalen var inte bra. Vi blev dessutom lurade på pengar när vi skulle få hjälp med att boka en moped. Tyvärr är jag inte alls nöjd och tipsar er om att hitta andra hotell/lägenheter som är bättre då själva Malta var kanonbra.

relax in ottimo aparthotel a prezzo davvero basso
appena arrivati sinceramente la facciata esterna (ma del resto son tutte cosi') non dava molte speranze poi..ci siam dovuti sul serio ricredre un due stelle di tutto rispetto!letti con materassi nuovi,oltretutto una camera per due con tre letti oltretutto enorme(mai capitato neppure in un tre stelle)!!televisore al plasma da 32 pollici,frigorifero grande,materiale per pulizia nuovo,acqua calda mai mancata!il bagno un po' piccolino ma comunque confortevole!balconcino.Ipropirietari molto disponibili e mai invadenti. Che dire?Siam rimasti piu' che soddisfatti!!
