Not the best year

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been vacationing at Hamilton House for over 20 years and many times I have also brought family and friends to this location. This was by far the worst stay, mainly due to the behavior of other guests. They were constantly loud - day and night. They kept bright lights strung across the balcony all night (there were 2 turtle nests directly in front of the property!) They had glass beer bottles in the pool, pouring beer out onto the pool's concrete apron. They kept their towels and floaties at the pool the entire week, and often allowed their children to be unsupervised in the pool. While on the beach, they played their music far too loud, making it difficult to relax. As far as the condo, a balcony window blind was missing (and not replaced), and the light over the sink was not repaired. Both items were reported in person to management on day 2. I have enjoyed the Hamilton House through the years, so I will return for one more time. Hopefully it will be the vacation paradise we remember!

Always next year....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at the Hamilton House several times over the past 20 years, including the 301 condo. This year was a disappointment. The master bathroom light did not work, even though maintenance came to look at it. Apparently an electrician is required. Although the master bath had a vanity upgrade, still only one sink, and it is too high. The showerhead looked moldy, until I realized it was rust. The caulk in the shower is black. Not sure if it is stained, but needs replaced. The master bedroom blinds were not totally attached at the top. There was a huge wet spot from a leak in front of the living room balcony doors. Reported it immediately, as it appeared to come from the roof. No one came to look at it, and it may leave a stain. Unfortunately, there was also Red Tide, Covid-19, and three days of horrid rain and strong winds. Not my favorite year. But I would recommend Hamilton House and the JC Resort staff. Hope to return in a year or two!
