Tampa Lowry Zoo and the Florida Aquarium are also close enough for a half-day trip without feeling rushed.
Nature lovers will enjoy Sunken Gardens. Kids love Dinosaur World. Food lovers like heading up to Tarpon Springs for authentic Greek food and sponge docks. Hyde Park is great for shopping and people-watching. Downtown St. Pete and the St. Pete Pier stay busy with events, restaurants, and nightlife.
