If you are looking for seclusion surrounded by nature this is your place. Close to some great little restaurants and shops.. cute swimming hole down the road and waterfalls with kayaking our family came to connect with nature and reconnect from technology while grieving the loss of a loved one thank you for making our stay peaceful. Great experience

Don’t do what I did and try to take everything up the hill in one trek! Other than that an absolutely beautiful place. Wish we stayed longer.

Shelowee Traveler

The best part was that the cabin is high up the slope above other residences so you feel somewhat secluded. The cabin is fine if you are ok with no frills and a steep 0.25 mile hike with your belongings. Everything in the cabin worked. The one negative is that there is not a full bath at the cabin. You have to walk back down the 0.25 mile slope to use the 'full bath. There is an explanation in the description but a more accurate advertisement would be that there is only a half bath consisting of an outdoor compost toilet at the cabin site.
