This is a hotel in the Daniel Boone Forest.
People are there to enjoy the outdoors ,not be inside .This hotel was low on amenities but high on hospitality. The front desk and the dining staff were excellent.They were friendly and went out of their way to help me.
The continental breakfast was just okay.The dinner menu was good with large portions.
I would say that the cleanliness and the maintenance of the rooms could have been better.The bed was comfortable and the water was hot enough. I...

「There was a slight odor of marijuana all on the 2nd floor -which was a little disappointing-but we ran the fan continuously and that took care of it for the most part. Wonder why the pool couldn’t be open a little earlier in the morning? Breakfast was great! Quiet room! Beautiful setting, easy access from interstate.」

「Stay was okay. Building was clean and everything worked well. Location was much further from red river gorge than expected, about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes one way to a trail. Bed was very hard. Hot tub was nice. Overall, decent if you dont mind the sleeping conditions and the drive but for us it wasnt worth the cost 」
