「My daughter and I, plus 2 friends had a very nice stay at the Canal Quays (2 bedroom). There is a beautiful view of Table Mountain right outside our front door. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. We had a 3 day conference at the CTICC (Convention Center) and it was only a 5 minute safe walk from our apartment. Uber is the best way to get around and everything is close by (Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, etc.). Would come back to Canal Quays if we return to Cape Town.」

「Recently returned from a 3 night stay at these apartments and we had a great stay in apartment 6. It was modern, clean and bang in the centre of Franschhoek town. The check in was the quickest ever and room was ready for us despite arriving early. The facilities were great and bed comfy - didn’t want to leave the place and wouldn’t hesitate to book when visiting again 😀 」

「Obviously the location depends on what you're looking for but it's very central, easy availability for Uber/Bolt etc and you have Cape Quarter nearby for groceries etc. Concierge were very friendly. Apartment itself is great with just a few niggles. The blinds in the bedroom were broken and had been left closed - clearly it was known they were broken. After much fiddling and trying to fix we got them open and then had to leave them like that. Could have reported it but wasn't a priority - just...

「Mouillé Point Places is a convient location. Bus stop just out front and a Red City Sightseeing bus stop a few minutes walk up the street Coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. We recommend Bobo’s or Lily’s for lunch or dinner. Our flat had a lovely ocean view. The building has security guards on duty at all times. While we were there, the water heater in our flat broke and the maintenance team fixed it in about two hours. A great place to stay. DW Cincinnati USA」

「Good day, I advise the host I arrived at the hotels, and the area was unsafe, and my car could not be parked safe. I had to find a last-minute accommodation after 5pm on a Wednesday evening during driving through peek Cpt traffic. All had to happen before my function started at 6pm. Not that I expected a refund but would've appreciated some kind an olive branch from the host just as a suggestion. As it was quite a stressful experience finding alternative accommodation.」

「I was somewhat disappointed. For a place that advertised luxury it wasn’t at all luxury. There was a distinct smell in the room and simple items that denote luxury weren’t there apparent. Couch was soiled and bath towels were thin and overages from years of use. 」

「Great area and property ! Travelled from the uk with family to Cape Town on holiday . Everything in apartment was fine except they could do with having fans or AC. Especially for those of us coming from colder climates not used to the heat there. Check in process could be better too . Overall safe area with a lot of security, it’s a gated community so you feel very safe .」

「Property was nice, clean and accessible. They asked us if OK not to service the room due to lack of resources, which was fine and accepted. We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. The owner freaked out about that, we accepted responsibility and apologised. We understand that security is a great concern in this area and accepted compensation needed to replace locks, a remote and keys. The rules for the...

「Cottage was spacious with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and good amenities, fixtures and fittings. We arrived just on dark and there were no dining options, power was limited to a few lights, due to daily "load shedding", so unable to microwave or even get a cup of tea until full power returned an hour or more later. Next morning unable to find a suitable power outlet for hairdryers supplied - on checking out was advised compatible points beside/under beds??? Staff were personable and helpful...
