“While this hotel is in a convenient location right off the highway near plenty of shopping and dining, the stay was overshadowed by a major lack of transparency. I specifically book hotels that include breakfast to manage my travel budget, and their website clearly advertised this as an included amenity. Upon arrival, I was told the "breakfast" consisted only of hot coffee. When I brought the website’s advertisement to the front desk’s attention, the staff member was completely unsympathetic and……

“The property is dated and in need of upkeep. The bed was terrible! Bath tub was not good. I almost slid off of it. Only stayed there out of necessity”

“I would not stay at this hotel again! It was not clean! There were gaps on the side of the door and a gap at the bottom. Enough for bugs to enter. The bathtub was not clean.. so it was either really old and not cleaned properly ever, or it was just plain dirty! There was some sort of splatter down the side of the nightstand btw the 2 queen beds, that I don’t even want to guess what it was. The table next to the dresser had a cup water stain with something all over the desk. Plus, the tv did……

“Room was decently clean, but they missed some cleaning in the bathroom tub and tub surround. Baseboards were very dusty. We stayed there a year ago an it was better, fresher. They do not keep up the outside front plant area and it’s grown up with weeds and small trees. Ice machine is leaking and has green growth around it on the concrete. There is a mini frig, but no coffee maker. For the price I guess you can’t expect too much. One night was enough.”

“There was no breakfast o my cereals and coffee and some fruits; but no eggs or pancakes. ”

“There’s more going on in Live Oak than I ever dreamed. We enjoyed this convenient roadside stay, several good dining options nearby as well as a Walmart Supercenter and Tractor Supply just 5 miles away!”

“This hostel was so nice and clean! It’s close to the highway and a lot of restaurants!! If you need somewhere to stay I highly recommend! ”

“No one at the front desk when we arrived. I looked around and called out for someone for 10 mins. Finally someone showed. Charged me twice for a room.”

“The room itself was dated which would have been fine if it looked clean. There was rust that looked awful in the toilet and white splatter marks of something on the doors. Glue or some gunk in the shower. The towels should have been white but were very dingy and we had to get another set at the front. Those were white thank goodness.”
