"The beds were comfortable and a nice variety of amenities. The little game room by the pool was a unique addition. The carpet in the room had like a wet slippery feeling all over, maybe the last time there were shampooed the extraction wasn’t fully done? Also the hand soap, shampoo and shower gel were all in dispensers on the walls. It felt cheap and tacky honestly. The front desk staff were all very welcoming and the breakfast great for the family. My only other issue is the room had a musty stale smoke smell. I would stay here again during the week, it just didn’t feel like the value was there at the weekend rate."

"Very strange and cool that the staff was on a Video instead of in person at the reception. It’s was quite weird to be welcomed at 1:00 am with a video call…it kind of creeped me out because the Lobby door is wide open and when I was heading up to my room on the 3rd floor, I felt a little uneasy that there was no one around. The las 3 days of my stay were a little more relaxed because the manager was there sitting outside and some women were in the lobby working. All in all, excellent stay , and I”d stay there again. the room was huge and very adequate for everything I needed."

"If you are looking for a room near to all that Steven’s Point has to offer, this is it. If you need help from the friendly front desk staff, it’s here. If you’re looking for a room with a quiet HVAC system that allows you to sleep well, here you are. But, if you’re looking for a free breakfast down in the lobby and coffee or hot water available for tea or hot chocolate anytime, you will not find that here. For breakfast, skip the attached Amber Grille restaurant; after walking way down a long hallway, you’ll find the breakfast buffet is expensive and barely hot enough to enjoy. The other offerings were quite pricey as well. Go to the Legacy restaurant down the road…you’ll be pleased."
