“Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. “The main problem during our stay was the noise. The walls are extremely thin — we could hear everything, even the people in the next room using their microwave. We were placed between two rooms that seemed to be traveling together, and they partied and slammed their doors throughout the night. By 3 AM, we had to ask them to quiet down. “Booked a stay to celebrate my wife and I getting married - we booked an executive suite at what we thought was a nice little hotel outside Bangor, Maine. I even called on 3/18 to confirm we would be able to bring our dog, as it was unclear online whether the room was pet friendly or not. I was told it was - but when I called to confirm our check-in time the day of our stay, I was notified that was actually not the case.
We were downgraded to a standard room, as those were the only pet friendly……
