“Food excellent and good value, room nice, clean, they left fresh milk in the room. All staff really friendly and helpful. would go again.”

“Lovely setting, really helpful staff. The room itself was fantatsic and had every amenity you might expect. Unfortunately let down by a usable, but tired bath room. We also drank and ate in the pub which was really nice and good value.”

“Staff were very helpful and friendly (Martha was especially good). Good selection of beer and great atmosphere”

“We loved our stay at this hotel! The rooms were quaint and well made up. There was even a bathtub in our room, which was a game changer! We would definitely return to this hotel when we come back to the Cotswolds in……

“Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing……

“Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles.”
