「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「This was the perfect stay for me! The hotel felt very classic New Orleans with a slight update. The space was incredibly clean, the staff were highly responsive, and the location was impeccable. Residential area near one of the coolest parts of the French quarter. Ears plugs were definitely necessary one of the nights, but that comes with the location. Highly recommend!」

「It is a classic old school hotel with an incredibly helpful staff. The Carousel Lounge is so much fun. Hard to get a seat on Friday or Saturday, but worth the wait if you can finally get in. My wife wanted a nice souvenir of our trip and called to ask if she could buy the logoed trash can in our room. They didn't even treat that as the crazy request it was and sold it to her. Can't say enough good things about our 3 night stay.」

「It’s an interesting building, train station vibe with mid century modern furnishings. Convenient location. My only complaint is no drink machine or place to buy drinks after 4:30 pm. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and nice. Liked all the wood accents throughout the room and building.」

「I love this hotel. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Nola! They have thought of everything. Such a great location, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Although it's at the foot of Frenchman Street (my fave), it was surprisingly quiet. Spent much time on the second floor balcony and there was a beautiful breeze. Thank you, hope to be back in November!」
