"They made a birthday cake for my son last minute and were so kind to us. Everyone there was helpful and kind. The server at breakfast got a candle to put on his breakfast and sang. Happy birthday. It’s also a beautiful property and the kids enjoyed the obstacle course in the back."

"I've had such an awful experience with this hotel that I will never again stay at a building with "Fairfield" in the name. I booked this hotel in part because they had a pool, and did not see anything in the app about it only being open seasonally. When we arrived, we found out the pool was closed. We checked out without a half hour or so, but they would not refund our stay. I reached out to the manager, and she refused to refund the night because the hotel was fully booked. (Be that as it may, rooms were still available that night on the app). "

"The hotel is a bit dated to some but that’s what keeps the city rif raff away. Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts stay here so be prepared to use the grounds and stay outside most of the time. When you finally do crash inside you will find very comfortable beds, amazing views and complimentary water. Internet was good. Main Inn restaurant food was delicious. Catering food fantastic. Shared areas with fireplaces were perfect. No elevator but only 2 floors. "
