The room and bathroom were immaculately cleaned and well kept and the host is a gem who cooks the best breakfast which includes lovely free range eggs from her own hens. Waking up in the morning to the view over a beautiful garden beyond the lake to Skiddaw was an extra treat as each morning there was a new ever changing Lake District vista. I'll definitely be back! "We just had an overnight stay at The Cumbria Park Hotel, it was very pleasant. Very welcoming reception area. Booked in straight away, we were a little early but the room was ready. The room was well presented, which looked as though it had been recently redecorated. We had our evening meal in the restaurant, which had a nice atmosphere, the staff were very attentive and the food was very good. Spoilt for choice at breakfast from fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese, pastries or a full Cumbrian breakfast. Again beautifully presented, clean and fresh. A lot of time and money has been spent, an excellent hotel, all the staff were helpful, plenty of parking. We would definitely stay there again."
