"There was no information listed about the on-site dining being closed when we booked. We were sent an automated email with this notice directly after the reservations were placed but the reservations were non-refundable. Also, the room was pretty grungy.... It looked like there were new modern furnishings, but there was blood stains or something all over one of the curtains and most of the furniture was pretty worn, scratched, or falling apart."

"We had such a relaxing stay here. The space was quiet, calm, and exactly the cozy vibe we were hoping for. Inside was very clean and comfortable, and everything felt just as described in the listing.We loved the proximity to Lake Cushman and the ability to utilize both parks in the area with lake access- such a huge bonus. The location really makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors while still having a peaceful retreat to come back to.The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils, spices, and everyday essentials, which made meals easy. We also appreciated that the property is pet-friendly! The front deck was a highlight for us - relaxing in the hot tub out there was the perfect way to unwind.Tim was very nice and communicative throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free.A helpful note for future guests: if you’re staying in the winter and plan to use the wood stove, you may want to bring your own firewood. Also, for anyone particular about mattresses, the bed is on the firmer side.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back for another peaceful getaway."

"although we saw that internet access could be intermittent, that is TOTALLY different from being without access for 3 days. I had to go outside to make phone calls or texts. When someone called, I could hear them but they could not hear me. We left early."

"Quiet, rustic, and cozy. My favorite part was being able to escape the city and see the stars at night in quiet. I really enjoyed the access the the various private parks the included pass allowed, which I wish I had taken advatange of more as an amature nature photographer. The weather was perfect, and I had everything I needed at the cabin. I'm already considering another trip to the area."
