「I booked a private room. The room was clean with a bed, refrigerator and AC. They have separate women’s and men’s bathrooms for a shower and toilet. There are separate lockable bathroom/showers in each area down the hall from the bedrooms. They had a community room with seating, coffee and tea. The ferry is right across the street making this a very convenient area to stay in. Overall a nice stay.」

「Charming, a bit old fashioned and quirky this is a comfortable and very Tahitian alternative to the more corporate Tahiti hotels. Our room had everything we needed for a 1 night post cruise stay and we enjoyed the pool, bar and restaurant. It was also pleasant to sit on our terrace with a drink viewing the lovely tropical gardens, with the birds and chickens.」

「The Teahupo’o surf break is basically directly out front (off-shore at the reef, of course) but water taxis are right at the shore by the front gate of pension so the location could not be better from that POV. It’s a short walk (5 minutes) on a nice beach path from the Teahupo’o photo wave spot and Olympic rings, or you can drive to the pension and park but only if you’ve got a vehicle capable of river-crossing - so that adds to the charm of the place as well. The pension is quite nice, super...

「Very cool and relaxed place to stay while we explored the island and to acclimate to the time zone and recuperate from the travel day before we proceeded ahead to Bora Bora. The staff is amazing, they anticipate every detail before you even think about it. We just spent 3 days and I wish I had planned at least 5.」

「Great little spot where you have privacy and share common areas like kitchen, bathrooms, showers. The host was helpful and friendly. The pool was great. Peaceful place. We stayed one afternoon-evening before catching our red eye flight back to Hawaii. It was a nice spot to take a nap, enjoy the pool, and freshen up. Would like to go back and check out the tree house! Maybe next time :)」
