Had a great stay at lovely Barn Owl Cottage, it has all you would ever need and is spotlessly clean.

Had a great stay at lovely Barn Owl Cottage, it has all you would ever need and is spotlessly clean. It's in a lovely quiet area an escapists dream. The other positive is that it's all on the flat which was handy for me as I'm disabled. It's a great base for travelling and exploring further north with the lovely Portmahomac just a few miles away. The furnishings, are very comfortable, the perfect bolt hole for two.

Lovely and well equipped cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location with lovely views across the fields. Perfect for couple, good base to exploring the north highlands. The owner, Annie is very welcoming and helpful and she is just next door and do not forget about her lovely dog Echo, such a nice and friendly dog. There were a few welcoming goodies and also birthday card for my boyfriend as I have mentioned to Annie booking of the cottage as a birthday surprise. We rented the cottage as it was near where my family live.

We rented the cottage as it was near where my family live. It is absolutely beautiful, very comfortable and clean. Everything in the cottage that you would need. Anni was fantastic even allowed my grandchildren to come and visit us there so they could come and enjoy breakfast with us. Added bonus of the lovely dog Echo. He is such a lovely friendly dog. Lovely cottage and being next to the owners home didn't make it any less private, so quiet and comfortable with everything needed for a home from home stay. There were a few welcoming goodies (wine and biscuits) which was a really nice bonus and were very much appreciated. We would recommend this cottage as a relaxing break away.
