「It was a very unique experience. They were agreeable, and when language was a barrier, even those who didn't know English, they were fluent enough to understand what you were saying and what you wanted/needed and delivered promptly. While I did attempt to use my limited Japanese, it was just that, limited. Whenever I'm in Kyoto again, I would likely come back to this Inn.」

「This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. 」
