“One night stay was great, room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.”

“Reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived and helped us with our bags. The room was quite big and had a side sea view and it was lovely sleeping with the window open, listening to the sea. The room was very hot but better on second night as we'd left the window open all day. The room and bedding were clean. Room decor was very plain, could have done with a few pictures. As other reviews have said, hot water took a while to come through and even then, was fine for me……

“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”
